During the rally Carlson, who has three adult daughters, compared the US under Trump to a naughty girl being disciplined by her father. “If you allow your hormone-addled 15-year-old daughter to slam the door and give you the finger, you’re going to get more if it,” Carlson said. “There has to be a point at which Dad comes home.” At this point the crowd erupted into raucous cheers.

“Dad comes home and he’s pissed,” Carlson continues. “He’s not vengeful, he loves his children. Disobedient as they may be, he loves them … And when Dad gets home, you know what he says? You’ve been a bad girl. You’ve been a bad little girl and you’re getting a vigorous spanking right now. And no, it’s not going to hurt me more than it hurts you. No, it’s not. I’m not going to lie. It’s going to hurt you a lot more than it hurts me. And you earned this. You’re getting a vigorous spanking because you’ve been a bad girl, and it has to be this way.”

I mean... What. In. The. Fuck. Carlson just gave himself an erection in front of a crowd.

The word “weird” gets overused a lot but this is weird as fuck. Pretty creepy.

[–] adespoton@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 weeks ago

Also weird that it’s normal to both Tucker and his audience.

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 116 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

If this comment was made in a workplace I'd reach out to HR and make sure they were canned - this would absolutely qualify as creating a hostile workplace and the targeted employee might even be able to pursue the offender independently in court.

Public statements have a different threshold and public figures have less protections from this kind of speech and sexualization but... this shit being acceptable to conservative voters is just more reinforcement of how divorced from common sense and reality they fucking are.

[–] Eldritch@lemmy.world 30 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Yep, if someone is into spanking. More power to them. But sexually harassing others by projecting your sexual fetishes on to them. That's not acceptable.

If Tucker really wants to be cuckolded that way. He has the money to pay for it and better venues with willing partners to find it in. That isn't American public politics.

[–] TimLovesTech@badatbeing.social 19 points 3 weeks ago

He doesn't sound like he wants to be a cuckold, he wants to spank his daughter in a sexual way. This is just like Trump broadcasting how he wants to have sex with Ivanka more than anything. If their daughters could be talked into it, both of these sick fucks would be down with fucking their kids.

Call HR? I'd sue the company. No way they don't know this guy is weird as fuck. They just don't care. Let's see if a jury cares.

[–] Empricorn@feddit.nl 65 points 3 weeks ago

Once again, a "conservative" obsessed with controlling women. This party needs to be voted out of relevance...

[–] subignition@fedia.io 55 points 3 weeks ago (3 children)

This is a level of sexism and, frankly, creepy shit that should just not be tolerated at all. What kind of consequences could actually discourage this kind of behavior, I wonder?

smacking his ass and making him call you daddy apparently

[–] boreengreen@lemm.ee 7 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Civilized places outlaw corporeal punishments of children. So jail should be the thing disuading crazies from engaging in it.

[–] cmbabul@lemmy.world 9 points 3 weeks ago

It’s fucking wild how deeply so many people believe you not only should be allowed to physically assault children as a disciplinary measure, but that NOT beating kids is the problem in the world

[–] Sweetpeaches69@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

I could think of one that would take care of Tucker once and for all...

What the in the actual fuck. I can't wait for Harris to win so this guy can leave for Russia like he promised.

Fuck off, Tuckyboy.

He's dreaming of that Russian utopia, where you can just go to the store, and buy bread. Smell that bread! Wow.

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 32 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

Not really Trump's type. He prefers 13 year olds.

[–] Today@lemmy.world 31 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

I think we need to send someone to check on Tuckys daughters.

[–] WoahWoah@lemmy.world 28 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

What, you don't "vigorously spank" your 15-year-old daughter while calling her "a bad little girl"? Typical snowflake libtard.

It felt gross even writing that.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

And like the subheading on Wonkette's article - they should check his Internet history...

[–] dohpaz42@lemmy.world 29 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

I mean, their dear leader has publicly outright said that he’d have sex with his daughter. It’s unfortunately becoming normal for them to say the quiet parts out loud. And I’d wager that these are the “tame” quiet parts. Wait until they feel fully unencumbered to speak their true mind. Now that freaks me out just thinking about it.

[–] desktop_user@lemmy.blahaj.zone -5 points 3 weeks ago

what freaks one person is entertainment for another, and when these idiots (turnup and biden 2) are involved it doesn't stop being funny until rights are removed and people are bombed.

[–] dwemthy@lemdro.id 22 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Tucker is on record that he wants a government that loves him like a parent and takes care of him

[–] TriflingToad@lemmy.world 10 points 3 weeks ago

and smacks his butt

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago

And that his idea of parental love involves hitting but not feeding apparently

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 15 points 3 weeks ago

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson warmed up the crowd at Donald Trump’s rally here Wednesday night with a dark metaphor, bashing Vice President Kamala Harris and declaring that “dad” was coming home to mete out discipline.

Chat messages (evidence in a trial with Dominion) between Fucker Carlson and other Fox News personalities revealed that he hated the orange bad and wanted him gone. Conservatives are hypocrites all the way down.

[–] Tyfud@lemmy.world 13 points 3 weeks ago

Jesus. This is so fucking weird.

[–] foggy@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

Quote this post in 2028 when he's the GOP nominee for president.

😔

[–] makuus@pawb.social 10 points 3 weeks ago

WTAF is wrong with these people?

Like, dude, all cool if this is the fetish that you beat off to every night—not that I really need to know this.

But, if not, holy shit, seek help…

[–] lemmylommy@lemmy.world 8 points 3 weeks ago

Sounds like he has spent a lot of time around Gaetz lately. Fucking creepy weirdos.

[–] xc2215x@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago

What in the world, Tucker ?

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 3 weeks ago

Fucking what, dude?

[–] TheLowestStone@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

At least the last time I read something that made me feel this nauseous it was fiction.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

I thought Wonkette had the better title....

"Tucker Carlson Tells Rally 'Daddy' Trump Will Spank America For Being 'Bad Little Girl'"

https://www.wonkette.com/p/tucker-carlson-tells-rally-daddy

These people are deeply fucked up and weird. Tucker is a total freak show.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

By the way, in his fucked-up world, all of normal America are the ones that need the spanking, not just Harris. He somehow thinks it is normal America that is out of line, not his jackass fanbois that were doing things like domestic terrorism on J6.
