I love this. Ty

[–] arefx@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago

Wow that cat is cute haha

[–] Surp@lemmy.world 27 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And tons of global warming info which scares the crap outta me and makes me sad 😭

[–] Wage_slave@lemmy.ml 18 points 1 year ago

My instance's admin explained that those brief errors are due to the database deleting banned users posts in an extremely inefficient manner. Basically more growing pains because Lemmy never saw this kind of activity before

This is Lemmy .

So much Linux I had to block a fedora community.

So much NSFW I had to block cocks, sorry fellas.

Rest is good, I'm staying.

[–] seitanic@lemmy.sdf.org 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Wow, that's terrible! Can you tell me where you saw those NSFW posts so that I can make sure I block them, too?

[–] kvinayak99@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

There's Instance called lemmynsfw

[–] TheGiantKorean@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

So you are a cock blocker.

You forgot to mention all the Reddit references.

Also some of the best goddamn memes I've seen in a while. Seriously, it's rare I'll spot a meme on Reddit that I feel like reposting, but over the last three days I've found a good dozen on Lemmy where I was like "I have to share this with so-and-so".

[–] niktemadur@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

I noticed that a little over a month ago, many of these memes you could frame and hang in a pop-art gallery and Daddy Warhol would be proud.

[–] nutbiggums@lemmy.ml 13 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Lots of Star Trek? Makes me love this place even more

[–] The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)
[–] electriccars@startrek.website 5 points 1 year ago

I pronounce you both... ENGAGED. May you live long and prosper.

[–] BonfireOvDreams@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Weird, I haven't seen much of any Star Trek stuff.

[–] Corgana@startrek.website 10 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (4 children)

My dude startrek.website is literally the best instance, get on it.

[–] 1984@lemmy.today 8 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

Or just subscribe to it's largest community.

!startrek@startrek.website

You can't afford to skip out on !risa@startrek.website either!

Also LGBTQ+ stuff.

[–] craftyindividual@lemm.ee 12 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I've never seen so much Linux in one place.

[–] TimeSquirrel@kbin.social 23 points 1 year ago (2 children)

A lot of these people are people who made the effort to escape Reddit and all of its bullshit, it stands to reason they would also spend the extra effort to learn to use a privacy-respecting freedom-preserving OS. There are a LOT of computer nerds here.

[–] craftyindividual@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago

That's exactly what I suspected... a willingness to try unconventional systems ;)

[–] Trainguyrom@reddthat.com 3 points 1 year ago

The sheer number of computer needs strongly reminds me of early 2010s Reddit

[–] DoucheAsaurus@kbin.social 11 points 1 year ago (2 children)

It makes me want to reinstall Mint after years of not messing with Linux.

Consider joining our organization. :)

[–] dlpkl@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

So basically Reddit part 2: electric Boogaloo

[–] nutbiggums@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 year ago

Without the dickhead corporate ownership

[–] Aristoxene@feddit.nl 10 points 1 year ago

And this why we love it. Perfect meme.

[–] Lumun@lemmy.zip 9 points 1 year ago

There are so many communities being heroically held aloft by 1 or 2 serial posters. My favorite is !quackers@lemmy.world

[–] Legendsofanus@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

Damn, I need to enable those NSFW stuffs

[–] Crul@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (2 children)
[–] CommunityLinkFixer@lemmings.world 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !awwnverts@lemmy.world, !weirdwheels@lemmy.world, !comicstrips@lemmy.world

Cassetefuturism seems PERFECT ( AND I AM A GEN Z )

[–] deegeese@sopuli.xyz 6 points 1 year ago

I see myself in this picture and I don’t like it.

[–] Smorty@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 1 year ago

At least there are no lemons on here.

[–] Erasmus@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Furry posts

Furries everywhere man…

[–] jvrava9@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Linix go brrr

[–] thefatone@startrek.website 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yup! Came for the Star Trek, staying for a whole Lotta good stuff.

[–] Zalack@startrek.website 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I joined the Star Trek instance solely because I like startrek.website being in my handle.

[–] Corgana@startrek.website 3 points 1 year ago

It's like a fun little identifier wherever we go!
