What are some good alternatives? I really, really like cheese stuffed crust, but if I can get it without apparently supporting Nestlé, that'd be even better.

Little Caesar’s, it’s 5 bucks and the ceo paid Rosa Parks’s rent through the end of her life AND his son was the driller killer in Slumber Party Massacre 2.

Little Caesars doesn't do $5 pizzas anymore (at least here in the PNW). They're like $7 or $8 and that's just for the hot & ready pepperoni/cheese. Stuffed crust is even more

TIL. I guess there's good CEOs after all? Also never knew Little Caesars sold stuffed crust pizzas. I'll be ordering that for dinner! Thanks!

I’m not sure about stuffed crust and it looks like they raised the price to 8 bucks now for the hot n ready. Damn ceo is probably throwing kittens into wood chippers too.

Have you considered cooking? Check the sodium levels and sugar levels in those pizzas. It's nuts.

I usually cook, but every now and then I get a craving for cheese stuffed crust pizza. It's not a daily thing! xD

My dad has made his own pizza for a while now, he just started trying stuffed crust and it was wonderful

[–] Imgonnatrythis@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

You can make it. It will be delicious

You could try Red Baron, they have some stuffed crust options.

TIL. Looks like they're out of stuffed crust at my local grocery, but I'll buy them next time they're available. Thanks!

Red Baron is king of frozen pizza.

Get a ball of dough and male your own pizza, but fold the crust over a ring of cheese

[–] tallwookie@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

DIY - making pizza dough is beyond simple & then just use string cheese sticks for the "stuffing"

[–] Krakatoacoo@lemmy.world -1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It is almost always the better option as well.

It is always the better option.

Lol right? It's like the difference between fresh herbs and dried from a grocery store.

[–] zerbey@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

None of the microwaved pizzas are great, but Red Baron has always been my go to.

Whatever happened to Stouffer's? I remember liking their french bread pizza, even though I haven't tried it in about ten years, which coincides with a couple of mom-and-pop shops in my town opening since then and making spectacularly good pizza, with the Neapolitan/NYC-style thin crust.

[–] Sequentialsilence@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Stouffer’s is also a Nestle brand

[–] niktemadur@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Oh, ok. Glad I haven't touched the goddamned thing in a decade, then. And that's the way it's going to stay.
