Finally a measurement I can relate to.

But metric can still be applied. Hear me out.
So a yard is roughly one meter. It means a kilo-yard is about one kilometer and a centi-yard is one centimeter. How many miles or inches that is, is a conversion problem within the imperial system.
In the same way, a quart is about one liter. Milli-quart is about one milliliters. Easy. How many gills those are is not our problem.
There is no immediate equivalent for weight, although a double-pound would be roughly one kilogram.
It's almost like Imperial system units have all been borrowed from different measurement systems that should have nothing to do with each other. Tho I could get behind 12 inches in a foot, that seems nice to divide

The size of a corgi? That's nearly an 8th of a bald eagle. If it's really the weight of a baby elephant, then that's at least 200 pistols. That's hella dense, but i wish they'd use standard measures. I hate having to translate that into American like this.

Anyway what kind of pistols are we talking about here? A Desert Eagle .44 weighs in about 72oz while a baby elephant is about 200-300 lbs (lets settle in at about 250). Therefore, that is 1000 lbs. A thousand pounds is 16000 oz and that makes it about 222 Desert Eagles .44.
So anywhere between 30 and 60 cubic decimeters and 800kg and who knows what they still consider a baby elephant.
So.. Almost between tierce and a rundlet? Or is it just over a quater?
