Our schools have always had a surplus of these. Normally the left handed ones would be on the far left wall in classrooms.
Bad example. Those desks are shit for everybody.
And those are "good", there were some with only half or 1/3 of the shown table space. Had to sit on those for a number of years.

As a fat left handed person, these desks are one of the main reasons I dropped out of college.
My university, Missouri S&T, had them in some of the older buildings that hadn't been updated in a few decades. I'm looking at you, McNutt.

I'll take some minor awkwardness that is easily overcome vs being someone's property and being denied a livelihood any day.
