Sync has some issues displaying images embedded into post bodies. I still have Jerboa installed for if I need to view or make posts with them.

I'm getting so sick of the anti-car crowd commenting this stuff on anything related to cars. Like yes, we know, public transportation is good and a great goal. But they're just so out of touch with reality most of the time.

I upgraded to a 7 on launch day (pre-ordered), so my 4a has been sitting around as a backup ever since. Still miss the size, material, and color sometimes - I got the Google Store blue with the orange button and it looked so nice!

I mean, by that logic, 99.9% of all food is unnecessary. Why season your food when you can just have plain chicken, plain salad, etc? It's just the nutritional content that matters, right?

There's this thing in life called enjoyment. People like to enjoy things.

Man what the hell man

Wow, that looks awful as a handheld.

Thanks! I wanted something unique but not way out there, so this design gets you the classic look of pearl/tortoiseshell with a unique color palette I don't recall ever seeing before.

Excuse the meh photos, but my pup Tippy should make up for them. Did my first ever mods and went all-in with a complete replacement of everything on a SSS Bullet Strat. Here's what I did:

-SSL-1 Vintage Staggered in the neck -SSL-1 Vintage Staggered RWRP in the middle -SH-6b Distortion in the bridge -CTS 500k push-pull tone pot to coil split the Distortion -CTS 250k pots for the other tone and volume -Fender five-way switch (to replace the Squier import switch) -Copper shielding on the pickguard and control cavity -Abalone pearl pickguard -Treble bleed circuit on the volume pot

Next round of upgrades will be tuners, attention to the frets, etc, though this guitar already plays just as well or maybe even better (IMO) than my Player Telecaster. The Distortion is perfect for my typical black metal, and coil splitting gives it tons of versatility for the other genres I like such as shoegaze, emo, and more.

This is the internet, people need something to be mad about. I'm not saying LMG is in the right and totally fine, but as soon as it comes out someone like them might be bad, people just hop on. I'm waiting for their side of things to come out before really making any judgement. Things don't look good, but come on, they need a chance to be heard. It's just common sense.

Not when the friend I want to play with is a seven hour drive away and only owns an Xbox.

If only it came to Xbox :(

I could play on my Deck, but I want to play this one co-op. We still have the Divinity games, which D:OS2 is apparently very similar, but I wanna try this!

That's an absolutely ass phone for 99.9% of phone users

I have a Lake Placid Blue Bullet Strat SSS HT arriving today that I bought (brand new) as my first guitar to modify. I'm also waiting on a new pickguard and a Seymour Duncan SH-6 to arrive as my first change. After that, I'm going to look into single coils to put in the neck and middle positions. I mainly play black metal (hence the SH-6), but also shoegaze, emo, goth, and general rock and stuff.

So, any suggestions for things to do? Could be for the guitar in general, or those specific genres. Any suggestions are welcome!

A few highlights:

  • There is a radio station in certain areas (probably the main cities)

  • No ground vehicles

  • Fully scanning/researching a planet nets money

  • 10% of planets have life

  • Stolen ships are fully upgradable, but require registration which costs money

  • Both in-depth ship building and outpost building are for late game; ship upgrades can be done any time, but the in-depth builder is much more expensive

  • The inside of your ship is customizable and reflects the outside/modules you use

Hey there, first post on Lemmy after joining cause of Reddit! Thought I'd share a (pretty bad) photo of my Player Tele. Got this August last year, coming from a Jackson JS22 (I believe?) Dinky, and a cheap Epiphone hand-me-down before that. Still absolutely love this thing. It's a slightly weird choice for a black metal musician, but the versatility is amazing and my best song was made with this beauty!
