Oh no!

…anyway.

It had nothing to do with the last supper.

Not sure how I feel about this one…

If no one has already, I’d just do a GitHub request for it. I made the request for the sunset theme maybe a month or so ago, and @aeharding@vger.social was kind enough to deliver.

Pecker! Over there. What sort of bird is that? Wait, it's not a woodpecker, it looks like someone's...

Awful way to go. Stay safe out there, folks.

Seems AI answers are what the most highly upvoted comment on Reddit would be for the same question.

War All of The Time by Thursday?

Does anyone here on Lemmy log into a Remote Desktop on their iPad using VMWare Horizon? How’s the experience?

Seems to fix the image upload issue.

I figured how to edit comments on Thunder. But is it possible to edit posts?

I know the dev is buried in some deadlines, but I wanted to post a feature request for when things pick back up on the Bean side.

Would it be possible to have different sort settings for the main Home feed and the Community feeds? I’d like to be able to sort by “Hot” or “Top” with all read posts hidden while scrolling on the Home feed, but sort by “New” without read posts hidden while in specific communities.

Sorting by “Top” with read posts hidden leaves virtually every community empty at the moment, so it’s a few extra steps to bring everything back.

Thanks Steve!

Oddly, communities aren’t loading for me on Bean right now. They are working from desktop and Voyager, so I don’t think it’s a server issue. I’ll keep trying throughout the day though.

Edit: They open if I click a link on the feed. But not if I click on a community from my subscriptions.

Edit 2: I was sorting by “Top Six Hours,” so only posts from the last six hours were showing. It was a silly error on the user side. Sorry!!’

Post formatting (lemmy.world)

Not sure this can be fixed, but some posts don’t format correctly. Specifically ones with tables, like this one. I didn’t check other apps, and it might just be that tables and apps don’t mix in Lemmy.

Hope you’re mostly/fully recovered!

Edit: Not sure how to link it so it opens in the app. Sorry.

Edit #2: Checked out the same post on another app, and it had the same formatting issue.

I plan on preordering an iPhone 15 Pro on Friday to replace my iPhone 12 Mini. I also want to order a case to have ready for when the phone arrives.

I prefer slim cases that still offer a bit of protection. For example, right now I’m using the Caudabe Sheath. Any suggestions on other cases I can look into?

I’m still partial to !bean@lemmy.world. But !lemma@lemmy.world was just released publicly on TestFlight. It’s very Apollo-y.

Edit: fixed links

The current COVID variant going around doesn’t seem like a pleasant one.

I posted a few weeks ago asking for ideas on what to do in Boston. I appreciated all of the suggestions!

We ended up having less free time than I expected us to, but we were able to do a few things on the list.

Our hotel was right near the Boston Public Library, and we spent a good amount of time exploring that area. We walked around the Prudential Center, ate at Ramsay’s Kitchen, got to scope out the library, checked out a good bit of the Freedom Trail, saw some sea life at the New England Aquarium, tried some breweries (I enjoyed Democracy Brewing a lot), shopped around Quincy Market, and hung out around Little Italy and China Town.

I’d say we walked at least 5 miles per day, and saw a lot of historical sites. Definitely an enjoyable visit!

I always thought this was a fun topic. What power would you choose?

I’ll have one and a half days worth of free time. What is something I absolutely must do in that time? I’ve never been there.
