It is not a creator's responsibility to handle shitheads on a completely unrelated website. That's absurd.

"I truly do not care if ConcernedApe speaks on pronouns in the game any more,” one user said. “I want [him] to condemn the transphobia and violence against the trans members of the community.”
How in the hell is this his responsibility? We have to prove our allegiances now? If I ever become a game dev I'm keeping my head down.
I just got "done" (i.e. bored) with my last colony, this timing is perfect.
Growing up I only ever saw church and religion on TV and never really thought much of it. One day as kids my mom pulled my brother and I aside and asked us, "It doesn't really make any sense for there to be a bearded man in the sky, does it?" That's all I really needed to hear to be science-minded for the rest of my life.
I'm a little jealous of people who grew up with church communities though. There's lots of good people out there, even if it's for the wrong reasons.
Aside from TF2--and even that I got a bit bored with--most all of my interest in multiplayer FPS died along with Unreal Tournament. Doesn't feel like having fun is the goal anymore.
CD has been making videos of quality for 16 years and the only thing that's really changed is the YouTube resolution limit.
But how will they get more War Thunder clicks and irresponsibly point where fans can report people if they stop making YouTube drama?
It's mildly interesting to consider that just stating the intent is the key difference. Not so much banning the mod as the modder, I guess.
If you like roguelikes and want to ruin the scope of all other games for you for a while, try CDDA.
My gamer brain is in shambles.
One thing I always liked about The Sims was it being a satire on life. Especially the first one. I don't think this game is interested in going that direction... Everything is very Korean. Spotless and clean and sterile.
Surprised he didn't mention Corruption of Champions, which really set the bar for indie porn developers.
