Musk will be out before 2025 closes. Taking bets.

I think they’ll go to battle and it will be glorious 🍿

But trump is only the concept of a billionaire

[–] leadore@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago

I'm not sure he even makes it to the inauguration.

[–] SGG@lemmy.world 135 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Excuse me, that's President Musk and First Lady Trump.

[–] rockerface@lemm.ee 16 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I thought it's Queen Musk and Prince Consort Trump

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago

Court Jester.

[–] rayyy@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Well, usually the first lady wears heels, sometimes a girdle and makeup.

Musk is itself the deep state that he's been crying about.

Better start referring to Musk as "Leader of the Deep State"

[–] Kecessa@sh.itjust.works 16 points 1 week ago

It's always projection

[–] Empricorn@feddit.nl 71 points 1 week ago (2 children)

The racists have installed a South African president. 😂

[–] whoisearth@lemmy.ca 28 points 1 week ago

In fairness it's an Afrikaans POS that probably has a home in Orania. It's the kind of South African MAGA would love.

[–] DandomRude@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago (2 children)

tbh the US citizens did that

[–] Empricorn@feddit.nl 22 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Uh... yep. That's what I meant.

I voted for Harris. Talk to the people who refused because Harris fell short of their line that said "To ride you must be THIS PURE."

[–] h3mlocke@lemm.ee -1 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Lmao. Kamala Harris?!?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

[–] meep_launcher@lemm.ee 4 points 6 days ago

No obviously meant Calvin Harris. His music is what this nation needs now more than ever.

[–] LovableSidekick@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

Yes, "lmao" - typical hater eloquence, well done! I am unable to counter that logic.

[–] Squorlple@lemmy.world 63 points 1 week ago (4 children)

They’re around each other often. One shouldn’t have to resort to AI to manifest an image of them beside each other. IMO, using AI in propaganda (even if factually accurate propaganda) makes the message come across as phony and those in agreement look disingenuous or dumb since the propagator couldn’t even bother to use reality in their imagery.

[–] coyootje@lemmy.world 18 points 1 week ago (3 children)

That's assuming people can even tell. It's at the point now where a lot of people are starting to struggle.

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Even if people couldn't tell, when it comes out that a purportedly real photo is AI, it still can greatly undermine a point.

Fine if the photo is obviously AI as an obviously fake over the top satire, but other than that, particularly when there's just a huge library of real photos, don't resort to AI fakes.

i dont think “president” is a good descriptor of musks position. i think if anything he’s more like the CEO of the united states. he gets to complain about stuff and give orders that other people follow. the president does this to some degree as well, but i think the president has way more responsibilities and paper work than the average CEO. the president also has to make more public appearances and answer questions from various government organizations/committees. musk doesn’t have to do any of that. he can just show up whenever he wants and make demands

[–] MutilationWave@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (4 children)

I agree in general but I think it's funny to imagine Teflon Don doing paperwork. The only thing he's read in years is a teleprompter.

Seriously he didn't do shit but rallies and sign whatever he was handed last time. Trump played golf, which takes a long fucking time, on average more than once a week during his presidency. Once every 5.6 days is the estimate.

Is he going to buy a "founder of the USA" label and have it put in the Constitution like he made himself a Tesla founder?

[–] medicsofanarchy@lemmy.world 26 points 1 week ago

"They come to me, tears in their eyes, and say Sir, you are the only one of Musk's assistants that wears makeup. It's the best makeup, everyone is saying it."

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world 24 points 1 week ago

I see what we’re doing here, and I love it.

[–] iAvicenna@lemmy.world 21 points 1 week ago (4 children)

Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

[–] IzzyScissor@lemmy.world 16 points 1 week ago

Corollary: Those preventing history from being taught intend to repeat it.

Isn't that the same Ferengi in different Hu-mon disguises?

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Is the film Don't Look Up a social commentary on real life? Or did Elon and Donald saw the movie and decided to cosplay?

[–] inv3r5ion@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I think this is more idiocracy than don’t look up…

[–] cobysev@lemmy.world 27 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Idiocracy had a president who actually cared about the environment, who hired the smartest man in the world to help them solve the crisis. Trump refuses to acknowledge there's even an environmental crisis and he won't listen to experts. Idiocracy is already a better future than the one we're living in.

[–] MutilationWave@lemmy.world 14 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yeah give me Macho Camacho any day over the shit we've had.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

That's two demerits. One more and you get a citation.

[–] postmateDumbass@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Maybe Trump will get to the point he has Musk killed?
