How many Linux people actually get the survey? I know I didn't.

[–] prenatal_confusion@feddit.org 1 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)

I did. Twice this year iirc

[–] ulu_mulu@lemm.ee 5 points 11 hours ago

I didn't either, not even once in years of playing on Steam.

[–] cron@feddit.org 9 points 18 hours ago

I got it a few times over the last years, once on the steam deck.

[–] Blxter@lemmy.zip 6 points 18 hours ago

I forgot it once many months ago and never before or after

[–] athkore@feddit.nu 6 points 18 hours ago

I got it twice

[–] mumei@lemmy.world 4 points 15 hours ago

Got it once in the one year I've been on Linux

[–] zod000@lemmy.ml 1 points 7 hours ago

I haven't in at least a year or two.

-0.05% might be insignificant, but do you think it has to do with more games requiring kernel-level anti-cheat?

This type of drop usually happens when the Chinese language rises because "nobody" in China is using Linux

[–] Sunshine@lemmy.ca 12 points 18 hours ago (4 children)

China needs to start their own Linux distro.

[–] soulsource@discuss.tchncs.de 15 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

They have done that already. It's called Kylin.

[–] Sunshine@lemmy.ca 4 points 17 hours ago

Oh nice I wanna read about that.

[–] mr_MADAFAKA@lemmy.ml 9 points 17 hours ago

Unfortunately, Linux isn't very popular among gamers in China. Im not sure if this true, but i was reading comments on random Chinese forum(or BiliBili? dont remember exactly) some were saying that rarely anyone wants to use Linux on their hardware or when they buy PCs/laptops that come pre-installed with Linux that people usually just go to PC shop to install Windows on their hardware

Deepin is pretty popular

Course it's down, they didn't ask me for the survey this time!

[–] HornedMeatBeast@lemmy.world 5 points 17 hours ago

No Fedora?

I thought it was popular.

I tried Manjaro a few times and it made my PC unusable every time. All sorts of little issues and even though I disabled any sleep features my screens would not wake up after I had been away for about an hour. Nothing else responded either like my PC had frozen.

Nobara is my distro of choice these days.

I didnt get survey.
