Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Is it just me, or is it objectively funny that Trump's campaign appears to be easily hackable?

[–] ThePantser@lemmy.world 34 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Well he is easily manipulated so it is par for the course.

Click the link to allow $100 million to be donated to your campaign!

It’s terrifying that fucktards would vote in this level of incompetence.

I'm getting this wrong probably: A-people hire other A-people, B-people hire A-people, C-people hire D-people, and D-people hire Trump.

Well when the email's subject line says, "daddy Putin would like a word." Trump definitely is opening that link

He can't remember 8 characters.

This looks like stunts to help trump boost his numbers. Notice that he wants media to talk about him. The documents from the last one did not contain anything that we already didn't know and likely were leaked by his campaign.

At least now they know where to send the data to get it published.

Member when he refused to use a secure phone for years while illegally occupying the office of President? Just - hours and hours of potentially damaging conversations broadcast to all the state actors in DC because he’s such a demented, inept clown.

[–] inb4_FoundTheVegan@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago

My assumption is that these are state actors doing the hacks. No one, allies and opposing states, want to deal with the chaos of a 2nd Trump administration.

[–] Unlocalhost@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I'm beginning to the the 2nd attempt on his life was staged too.

[–] PlasticExistence@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Trump anyway:

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

I mean is it really hacking if everyone knows his password?

[–] barnaclebutt@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

It seems like hunter02 password strikes again. Damn you Hunter Biden and you're impressive shlong! When Trump will never not be the victim! He's already a racist, fraudster. How could it get worse? Is he going to share a cell with Diddy next?

What does it say under the ********?

[–] taiyang@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I think it's funny they'll probably paint this as him being a bigger target because Chaaaaina wants Harris to win. But we know it's probably because his people are inept and Harris (and probably DNC, and Dems in general) probably receive more attention and just don't open malicious emails as often.

Not that DNC isn't inept... Just uh... Less inept.

[–] match@pawb.social 2 points 1 month ago

the harris campaign is young enough that it might reasonably be ept
