Seems more like the package is flying away and discount Mario is deadset on not losing another one.

They’re lying to you, they lost your package. DHL does this constantly, anytime I have a supplier shipping with them I feel obligated to warn clients about inevitable delays.

I had an issue with a UK supplier shipping to me in the US because UK mail is owned by DHL. Two shipments made it to the US, made it to New York, made it through customs and then... "Attempted Delivery, Kein Standort ausgewiesen, US." Never seen again.

DHL kept trying to convince me and the seller that "Your German address is refusing shipment."

"Last delivery hop was Flushing, NY."

"No, last delivery hop was in Kein Standort ausgewiesen. That company refused shipment, it went back to the UK."

"'Kein Standort ausgewiesen' is German for 'No location reported,' dumbass. Where is my package?"

"... We don't know. Germany somewhere. Call them."

Thankfully my vendor has refunded my money. Sadly, he no longer will ship to the US because this keeps happening to his customers. :(

UK Mail is owned by DHL

What? The Royal Mail is the UK's national post service and has been an independent entity since it was (stupidly) privatised in 2011.

And the Royal Mail Group also includes GLS which is a direct (but comparatively small) competitor of DHL.

Maybe a mix up in the original comment..

That’s so frustrating. Good on your vendor for doing the right thing, terrible DHLs inept routing ate that business’ lunch and lost them a huge market.

This is exactly why America needs to fortify the UPS, it’s so infuriating to see politicians slowly hamstring it. There’s probably only a few bad hands or faulty software in DHL’s supply chain but when it’s left to the motivators of corporate growth and competition then oversight and accountability will be as trim as they can be. Some industries shouldn’t be for profit. Besides even with the Post Office around there’s still need for couriers, FedEx, UPS, and others.
