Just stop it.
I don't experience any infighting. I generally just use local which just shows posts from the cool kids. Everyone is generally very respectful towards each other.
Now if a non ML wants to come on and be disrespectful I think they deserve to be eaten like a cow in a pool of piranhas.
Perhaps we should first of all critically assess what we agree upon instead of skipping this incremental step for the sake of pointing out our disagreements. Because maybe that's what's causing this unsolvable divide is the a priori stuff that we have thoughtlessly agreed upon.
Ok question, what does everyone agree upon in the leftist servers?

uhh, anti capitalism, the basics of free housing, Leftist aesthetics, Climate action (but a little contention on how, but it can be respectful), there have been good discussions of history that have nothing to do with capitalism vs socialism, dunking on billionaires, discussion of African Anti-imperialism (I haven't had anyone who hates sankara), and that Avatar the Last Airbender is the perfect show.
!meta@lemmy.ml is for lemmy.ml's meta discussion, if you are talking about the instance's situation.
Come up with some set rules that the community is well-informed of, set lines, and what happens when they are crossed is guaranteed. Crack down if you gotta, I do like the temp ban touch grass idea rather than eating permanent bans and having to reroll accounts. I hate to say it but the community isn't yet at the point it can self-police, makes me think of the meme of Grounds Keeper Willie and Principal Skinner.
People look at HB as a good case, it's not a utopia, its what Lemmy could be quite easily, but they still have struggle sessions (not like they used to) and waves of wreckers come through like its the ocean so often.
You seem like a wrecker account.
perhaps, but it is a reasonable question, but their other actions could be taken under suspicion
Invite some right-wings onto the website, everyone will unite against them
Ahhh, the oldest trick in the book eh?
