Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

All of trumps undiagnosed mental, emotional and personality disorders are on full display and in complete control of his behavior. It both sad and disturbing.

He ain't getting better anytime soon, I believe he will try to bring the whole country down along before going to jail

[–] dyathinkhesaurus@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago

He's like a toddler in a tantrum, smashing all the other kids' toys because he doesn't want to go home.

[–] obvs@talk.macstack.net 31 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He can tour all four corners of his cell.

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 21 points 1 year ago

Can he tour a fucking jail cell already‽

[–] Ghyste@sh.itjust.works 17 points 1 year ago

Petulant child throws a tantrum.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 17 points 1 year ago (2 children)

They should give the deranged lunatic a competency test to make sure he’s mentally fit.

[–] spider@lemmy.nz 17 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If he fails, Trump will claim that it was rigged.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

not sure he wants to pass. I mean... if the alternative is a 8x8 cell in some supermax with even shittier hamberders than he normally eats...

[–] morphballganon@mtgzone.com 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

What is "want's" a contraction of?

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Mobile typo somehow

It’s fixed.

[–] hansl@lemmy.world 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Man, woman, person, camera, tv.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I love that he's sooo proud of acing that.

Like. They don't give it to people of sound mind. he just admitted to being at least borderline mentally impaired. (i.e. on set of dementia, etc.)

Unaware of the indictments?

[–] Lord_McAlister@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

How would he get revenge for that? They're his own damn fault.

[–] CADmonkey@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Same way Hitler did, maybe?

[–] Blapoo@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago

Revenge against justice (or those carrying it out). Doesn't he already have a gag order in effect in Ga's case bc he couldn't stop intimidating witnesses online?

[–] cabron_offsets@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

Good, good. It’s eating him up. I just hope he survives 5 or 10 years of solitary.

[–] InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I hope he doesn't pull a Kissinger and live for ever.

[–] spider@lemmy.nz 7 points 1 year ago

I hope he does, but only if he's incarcerated.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Nothing demonstrates the confidence of a mediocre white man like little donnie does.

[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 year ago

That’s in insult to mediocracy.

[–] the_q@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Revenge? On what for what?

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

For getting found out after fucking around.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

...and he has not really, actually gotten to the "found out" stage. I wonder how much squealing there will be if/when he ever really gets to that point?

[–] SinningStromgald@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

At this point every appearance and post online is revenge for any imagined slight against his greatest of persons. His entire campaign is based on revenge and allowed by the spineless simpering toads of the RNC who refuse to alienate themselves from him and his mentally deranged followers.

It's been a tactic of the "alt right" to call anyone who is not a fascist a "communist" for a while:

Oh Daddy Donald...let's say Pappa J'Biden WAS out to ruin your campaign, he hasn't admitted to it or stated it publicly so he has deniability. On the other hand Don is out here boating about what he's gonna do to retaliate. 🤦‍♂️ dude never learns.
