The admin of sh.itjust.works has been approached but as of yet has failed to reply to concerned Lemmy users. I’m glad Beehaw admins look out for us by cutting off instances that host communities like this.

Seriously. People who think "free speech" somehow means "I can lie, slander, and be a dick all I want" with zero consequences are utterly stupid. It's also extremely funny, and concerning, that those same people are claiming that anti-free-speech equates to left wing. They really are that clueless.

That's a lie. From the article:

The Supreme Court on Friday upheld a provision of federal law that prohibits the encouragement of illegal immigration for financial gain, ruling against a man who ran an organization falsely claiming that noncitizens could obtain citizenship in the US through adult adoption.

Wonder why you left that part out.

The literal next sentence in the article is

The case raised significant free speech concerns in the context of a law meant to forbid individuals from encouraging illegal immigration.
