If they followed the law as written it would go to the next person in order of succession, the congressional house speaker, because he would be ineligible to hold the office after the second term.

Not just fast food, chains and franchises in general. Local only may be more of a quality gamble when trying things out but when you find that unassuming diner or small restaurant that takes pride in their daily soups, and doesn't do delivery or apps, and closes at reasonable times for their workers, and is usually packed on weekends, you've found something special.

Bifold wallet with radio blocking for card scanners, keys with a little purple Swiss army pocket knife and bottle opener from Texas, Nexus 5 phone no case, oversized coin to fidget with that has a couple stoic phrases 'memento mori' and 'amor fati' but thinking about it I guess they should be written in Greek instead of Latin since that's the written language they would have used, occasional guitar picks left in pockets, microfiber cloth for glasses. In the winter I usually also keep chapstick, tissues, pens, mints, etc in my coat.

Of course, let's not let things like knowledge or consequences get in the way of reactionary & spiteful arrogance informed only by propaganda induced fear and hate, emotions know to prevent rational thought /s

Very efficient recalls, already did 6 on the same model vehicle in one year

There's also a bug I think with deleted comments taking days to actually be removed from visibility in several clients, I can still see it in sync and probably will continue to for at least a day or two

The ones I've seen in the wild are pvcs and ccc/harvest, but there are others. I think they usually try to brand it as part of a larger end-to-end SDLC tool or change management, or it's built to work with a specific proprietary system like Autodesk vault.

And Firefox, git, Dia, gimp, etc...

Proprietary OS's like Windows and macOS lack package managers too that tools like chocolatey and homebrew provide.

This is literally what organized crime does, it's like the cops for criminals.

Capitalist propaganda has had decades to hone and refine their techniques for manipulation and deception, the only way to win is to not play their rigged game, but if you're forced to because they've captured all of the resources under a government backed judiciary that's purpose is to centralize wealth and power under a minority ownership class i think you'd be justified to take more drastic measures to subvert or remove their propaganda.

Been listening to a few lately, a few John Carpenter's, Mayhem was pretty out there, looking for more that are interesting or wildly off topic or entertaining.

"In these times of darkness and hopelessness, we wish to share a strong message of solidarity and recognition to those Palestinian journalists who are covering this crisis in such dramatic circumstances. As humanity, we have a huge debt to their courage and commitment to freedom of expression," said Mauricio Weibel, Chair of the International Jury of Media Professionals.

Just trying to live with as little advertising as possible and curious what tips or tricks the community has aside from moving out to a cabin in the woods.

I can't really get away from road side advertising for now. Public sporting events are completely infected, and for the ads I am forced to see I try to make a conscious effort not to buy their goods or services. I won't subscribe to a streaming service if they have a sub+ad tier, if they're separate free with ads or sub no ads I'll support it.

Not really for any moral stance, but ad blockers are good at avoiding malware and some services are basically broken if you have to wait for an ad network, and I just feel mentally healthier in general without the extra propaganda.
