They're actually in it for the money. They average something like a post or comment every 15 minutes and can be seen switching personalities (from aggressively fake to just aggressive), they are multiple people likely getting paid to spread propaganda to split the blue vote
They are genuinely, ontologically evil people

Especially memes, tbh. You can see the bots more easily when they try for humor, makes the reddit communities for it feel so uncanny.
A consequence free environment (boatloads of money) simply let's people be who they are. Unfortunately bad people come into money more often.
