Does it really matter? IMO the only thing that matters is that they got rid of Windows

For phone linking you can use KDE Connect (and GSConnect if you use GNOME)

That's right! Note that despite the fact that these streets are niche and not used in the storyline - the game developers did not omit them when decorating the map.

Fun fact: In poland, there is the Panoptykon Foundation, which analyzes introduced laws in terms of privacy and human rights. Many laws have already been withdrawn thanks to them.

It's just a shame that the government doesn't do it on its own, but we need a special foundation to do it....

At first I thought you meant these "programming socks" from Linux community 😭 But still a great advice

GNOME 47 probably

I have never drank alcohol, despite persuasion from friends. I consider it unhealthy. Chemically, it's a poison, and a "hangover" is the process of removing the poison.

GTA V on Steam, but not because of AntiCheat that makes the game unplayable on Linux. I just don't like it. It's not fun.

Just choose good solutions up front. Then you won't have to migrate. Use Signal

I know that pushing a commit with an API key is something for which a developer should have his balls cut off, but...

...I'm wondering what I should do if, somehow, I accidentally commit an API key or other sensitive information, an environment variable to the repo.

Should I just revoke the access and leave it as is, or maybe locally remove this commit and force-push a new one without the key? How do you guys handle this situation in a professional environment?

Hi, I am planning to purchase a 2.5-inch HDD. If I connect it to my computer using a SATA to USB adapter instead of directly to the computer's SATA, can it somehow affect the result of this scan?

I apologize for my ignorance but I couldn't find an answer to this question anywhere

In my view, this is unacceptable...

They changed my background (previously there was a default blue window), placed an icon in the bottom corner of the screen that read "Learn more about this photo", and re-added the search bar that I had previously removed.

Fortunately, I don't have to deal with this on a daily basis.

More specifically, the HP T640 device.

The manufacturer declares compatibility with CL22 latency and 2400 MHz clocking. If I buy RAM with CL17 and 2400 MHz clocking, will it work?

Photo for attention

Hello,

Today my washing machine completely broke down. My parents desperately tried to get it working, but it resulted in the circuit breakers tripping and my server (an old Dell Wyse thin client) experiencing a hard power off.

When I tried to turn it back on, I received these errors on the screen.

I ran a memtest, and it completed without any issues. I also created a disk image backup just in case.

Is there any chance of getting this machine running again, or is it only fit for utilization?
