Yes but over 80% of the population lives in LA or the Bay Area. Which is why non-Californians don’t think of places like Redding when they think of California
The others wrote essays so I’ll keep it succinct
Overpriced and overcrowded - however, if your main hobbies are eating and shopping, and you think weather is annoying, then you won’t mind the price & crowds.
So, not bad for everyone
I don’t think it’s too complicated, it’s just significant enough of a difference to prevent the game from being pick up n play for people who are used to Smash. I think All Star Brawl would’ve been much more successful if they stayed close to Smash’s control scheme, like Multiversus did
All-star Brawl 1 wasn't really a smash clone tho, and I think that's why it didn't do well. It used 3 buttons (light smash, strong smash, special) instead of just smash + special, didn't allow rolling unless you tech, etc. It just required too much learning for a smash player to be considered a smash clone.
I was running into that too, then I tried pasting the https link to the community (for you, https://lemmy.world/c/songaweek) into the search bar and that worked. Just heads up you usually need to wait up to 30 seconds after pressing the “Search” button for the result to appear
