I recently gotten back into reading comics and mostly I am reading series that have ended. I am wondering what I can subscribe to, while supporting my local shop, that is currently running and you think will be great when looked back on.

Project Hail Mary is such a better book than Artemis.

The theory that he was under pressure to publish his 2nd book after the success of The Martian, so he just put out Artemis may hold water. Lol

They slipped in a quick glimpse of the Paul and Gurney reunion in this trailer. One of my favorite scenes from the book.

Major interest from other clubs but 16yo never wanted to leave - lifelong #AFC fan & Islington born/bred. Huge boost for Gunners @TheAthleticFC

Proposal is for ยฃ100m + ยฃ5m in add-ons - would be a record for a British player as #AFC try to agree deal with #WHUFC for top target @TheAthleticFC

Looks like he's going to try a subscription model for Reddit and if that fails then just removing the app altogether.

@Ruud@lemmy.world and his team need to get some applause. It is not easy to scale with how quickly lemmy.world is growing.

Don't forget to donate if you can. I think the links are in his account bio.

Awful takes on the issue. They did not even try to show the protestors' side. No mention of the astronomical pricing of the API or that the main Reddit app is subpar compared to the third-party apps.

In recent times, I am always cautious when a game is coming from Ubisoft, but I am just glad that EA is not the sole studio for Star Wars anymore.

I am currently starting my first Joe Abercrombie book, The Blade Itself. I have heard it compared to A Song of Fire and Ice, in terms of grim dark fantasy, but it did not grip me as quickly. I feel more that it is totally its own thing and that comparison hurts it a bit.
