I found one in community dance, specifically local folk dance. The median age is probably 65, so it’s adaptable to a wide range of athleticism levels, but it does require significant mobility.

I absolutely loved it until covid, and then I moved, but it was a wonderful group of people through whom I met dear friends, found a job offer, learned a bunch of things, and found a home.

You can keep the fridge, but I’ve fallen in love with the cabinets.

Nixon didn’t before his pardon, but I suspect it would be necessary for a commutation.

I saw two of my favorite coworkers outside of work together and felt a short, intense pang of rejection, but I’m honestly not that friendly at work, so what can I expect?

I’m not the target audience, so perhaps this had no effect, but the name seems really dumb. There’s a sign for it right outside my window and work and I just keep thinking “Kowardly: the hunter”

I mean this genuinely, why not just filter the words: Luigi [depending on how much you want to talk about Mario], Mangione, UHC, and depose?

I filtered “game day,” Linux, and all of the moe communities, because I don’t care about it and it will eventually wear on me to see a bunch of stuff related to those topics.

Well it is genetic, so if they’ve got kids who are autistic…

Wait, is the whole anti vaxx nonsense caused by the interaction in the meme on a macro scale between parents and children?

*straight man

There’s enough sexist gay men around as it is.

He might have just wanted the large, padded pockets. When I was in high school, kids would wear a giant parka no matter the weather when they were carrying a gun.

I just realized how dystopian that sentence is, sorry.

On the internet, no one knows you’re a cat.

They don’t think the US does, they think it should. You don’t need to be so aggressive about it.

That’s optimistic of you

He writes insane things in all caps that are divisive, instead of hopeful. His products are overpriced, flimsy, and deceptive, instead of cost effective, long lasting, and simple (this isn’t an ad, this is probably not a comparison they’d invite, but I’m happy to reword this if it feels like too strong a recommendation). He takes the worst parts of religion and distorts them to suit his purposes, instead of using just the best parts of various religions and other writers to try and find a universal message.
