Seconding this.

I'm in my late 30s but I don't want to continue the chain of grouchy old fucks that oppose anything fun.

Some places have their own "weird" delicacy that throws people off. Dogs in Yuan, maggot cheese in Sardinia, undeveloped ducks or stewed frogs in the Philippines, and so on. So, I'm not going to knock this at all.

Tbf, I've read about this as a teen a long time ago (GQ) and was fascinated by the irony of having the guinea pig in a cartoony sketch on the wrapper while seeing their corpse through the plastic.

Pretty much this. It's why I love it for my use case (microblogging journal that only I can see), but it's definitely not for everyone else.

It's why if your average influencer or news consumer wants a Twitter alternative, it's likely Threads or perhaps BlueSky, not Mastodon.

I must say, these are the types of replies I'd like to see. It allows me to re-examine everything on the incident from another side and possibly form a better take.

Is there a review unit of the EX90 out already??

Did they fiddle to fruition?

Now, you could take the fucking red pill, right? Spend the rest of your life jacking off, crying into your chai tea green latte, what the fuck. Or... you could take the blue pill. Or is it the red pill? Anyway, take the other pill and quit being a cunt.

Muhammad Hassan

In light of Danny Masterson being sentenced to 30 years for rapes, it should be noted that back in 1993, the cult sensation — Beethoven's 2nd — already warned us about him. This predates (no pun intended) the Conan clip making the rounds of late by more than a decade.

Exhibit 1

Seth (Danny Masterson) tries to get George Newton's (Charles Grodin) daughter Ryce out alone ("Say, are you going to be around for a while?") and gets deflated when she says she's actually out looking for someone else.

image

Exhibit 2

George finally gets to meet Seth. Right off the bat, he's immediately suspicious of him and tries to break the tension by making small talk about his dirt bike. When asked by Ryce what he thinks of Seth, George reacts exactly how I would if questioned what I think about rapists and Scientologists.

image

Exhibit 3

Seth meets Ryce again by chance on the town fair and asks if she's there with her parents (weird) and attempts to invite her on a "picnic" (mega weird). When Ryce correctly answers that she needs to tell her parents first, Seth whines that they'll just say no because he could tell George has a low opinion of him. He then says that he understands and expects to win him over once he gets to know the real Seth.

image

Exhibit 4

Despite the movie wrapping things up by setting Seth up as a good guy, George remains wary and dubious of him.

This would be Charles Grodin's final film shoot before taking a long break from acting — only to return in 2004, the same year as Danny Masterson's infamous Conan interview.

Lemmy seriously needs kindergarten-level SEO. None of the communities barely show up on Google.

I watch highlights on YouTube when uploaded. But I stopped watching late night shows a long time ago... ever since Conan left NY. Although that coincides with me finding work and never having the time to watch live (which is around 1pm here). Then streaming became a thing shortly after that and we had to cut cord.

Alan Francisco Rangel of the Sinaloa Red Cross told CNN that paramedics treated the pilot at the crash site in San Pedro, Navolato and then took him to a local hospital, where he died.

A zoo in China has denied allegations that its bears are actually humans wearing elaborate costumes after images of the animals standing up on two legs went viral online. The Hangzhou Zoo in eastern China explained on its social media account on Monday that sun bears from Malaysia are smaller and look different to other ursine species, but that they are definitely real animals and not people. “Because of the way they stand, some people online question whether they are ‘humans in disguise,’” the Hangzhou Daily newspaper reported. An employee at the zoo told The Associated Press that visits were being arranged for journalists to see the bears on Monday. Other zoos have previously faced allegations of dyeing dogs’ fur to make them look like wolves and attempting to pass off painted donkeys as zebras.

Did Reddit get massive because of Digg users making a beeline towards them or were they already big before that?

I feel like I'm browsing the internet in 1998, but in a bad way.

My sister wanted the Owlab Spring so bad, she got me to enter on the raffle so she has more chances of being picked. We ended up with both our names drawn. I decided to buy it anyway with the plan of re-selling rather than reneging on the deal.

The wife, however, saw it and fell in love with the pink color... so it became a present instead. She bought KBM Love Detective to go with it, but idk what happened to that set and why it's taking more than a year.

Anyway, specs:

  • Switches: Gazzew Boba LT

  • Stabs: Owlstabs V2

  • Keycaps: Some knockoffs called "Strawberry Bear"

  • Artisan: ACKeys Bunny Cat Snow

It works fine when viewed through other instances, but over here it's blank.
