I can definitely conceive of voters for whom an entirely female ticket is a bridge too far.

Every 2 years the longest-standing justice would be replaced, if they have served at least 18 years. Since there are nine justices this means each will get an 18 year term exactly. Any early exits would just mean you skip the next cycle. That's how I'd imagine it anyway.
Don't be fooled that not seeing any direct and obvious signs of American influence means there isn't any. For one of many, American economic decisions WILL incluence your national and local economy. Prices of goods, availability and type of jobs. These things are and will be influenced by who wins the US election.
