Yup. I already had a vasectomy years ago, in my late 20's. I wish I did it at 18.

At no point was I on-board with accelerating the collapse or forcing my own flesh and blood to experience it.

This is literally the exact same tired tactic used about 2016; attack and blame the left, instead of the neoliberals, moderates, centrists, corporations, or 70 million people who voted for fascism. It is a manufactured PsyOp, that has achieved the exact opposite of what you want 2/3 times.

Trying to blame and shame the left into voting the way you want has failed 66% of the time. You can either learn from it, or continue repeating the same mistakes... it's not like the left's gonna care. They blame you, and enjoy the schadenfreude of your failures.

He may not even have been lying. He's demented, and he didn't even read the daily white house briefings. There's no way in hell he'd pick up a 900+ page document. It's in his Christian Taliban handlers best interest to keep him in the dark. It's not like his voter base expect him to know what his policies are, because they don't even know. They're just voting based on a general vibe (aka feefees).

For real. ~45% of them deserve to be round up into camps or deported. That's what they voted for, after all.

That's just being a leftist, period.

When you look at what humanity has done to the planet, especially in the last century, an extremely selfish humanity — deserving of the suffering they cause themselves in their confusion — was always self-evident.

We're quite literally killing the planet to the extent that it will likely become unviable for human civilization within a century or so, most living species will be exterminated, and billions of people will starve to death ... and every day most of us choose not stop the destruction because it individually grants us a constant stream of dopamine hits from consumption and consumerism; the consequences are out of sight, and out of mind.

We're extremely ignorant, arrogant, dopamine-drug-addicted, talking chimps on a one way trip to oblivion. If it makes you feel any better, we never really stood a chance.

Sounds like the word you're looking for is "allies"

The thing about mental illness is it's not logical, and will never make sense. Cults, religion, and political ideology all indoctrinate — spread a mental illness — in the exact same way; they all attack the same psychological vulnerabilities.

If someone knows the sky isn't red, but chooses to believe it anyway, there's not a whole lot that can be done.

Have you been under a rock? Trump literally only cares about money and power. He doesn't have any friends. He only has acquaintances and co-conspirators. Old clips of him with Epstein and Giuliani are the only time I've seen him display what I would call happiness or fun.

I would never trust a dev defined SemVer as more than a relatively useless indicator of compatibility. I make sure there's proper unit and integration testing to prevent external dependencies breaking production. If it's a major dependency I check the release notes every version.

No post mortem. Blind support for neoliberalism is the only way.

"Now's not the time"

"Nobody could have predicted this"

etc...

As one of the dozens of people who are not American, I was chatting to my cousin the other day, and he said that after seeing the amount of dead kids that have come out of Gaza this year, and taking a mental health week off work due to the anxiety of watching the world not give a shit, he hopes Trump gets elected and America collapses into civil war... That Americans suffer for what their government has done, and is doing. He's not a bad guy. Bad guys don't have breakdowns from watching foreign children murdered.

I can't logically support his view, but I completely emotionally understand it. He knew Trump would be objectively worse for humanity, but is a fascist genocide that kills 2 million people better than a fascist genocide that kills 5 million people? At that point you're really just splitting hairs between failed states, and systems that deserve to be burned to the ground. After enough chances, opportunities, and desensitisation, you want the schadenfreude of watching the American electorate who voted for Trump shooting themselves in the face, destroying their livelihoods and lineage, along with all of their false patriotism and exceptionalism. I still suspect the conserva-russian PsyOps to be the main source of Trumps win, but I wouldn't be surprised if Israel's genocide is the straw that broke the Dems back.

Yes but the for-profit Mozilla corporation will selfishly maintain control of the golden goose to the bitter end, even if they destroy it. They offer no value without Firefox and they know it.

Thus, conservatism and neoliberalism are, in reality, the radical agenda...

Broke timestamps. Everywhere. New replies will show "10 hrs" while the original comment will show "18 mins".

When viewing posts I see tons of phantom comments that seemingly have nothing to do with the post or are replying to something when they appear at the top level. Navigating to the post in a web browser shows dozens more comments (not from users I've blocked or anything).

Formatting of content across posts and comments doesn't match what the site does when I view it in the browser.

Thanks to the Memmy dev and any contributors, but broken software is broken software.

So, what's the best alternative these days?
