Are you going to be brave enough to name and shame?

scorpion, a type of insect
Nope.
Scorpions are arachnids.
It goes further than that. If you're away from home and in a place where halal is not available, or you are a guest in someone's home and it was not reasonable for you to bring your own food, then eating anything is halal. And even without these things, there is ritual cleansing.
Intent matters.
Like there was an intense controversy in Malaysia a few years ago where a traveling "show" called "I Want To Touch A Dog" allowed Malay Muslims to come, touch a cute dog, and then quickly perform 7 ritual cleansing steps. The argument centred on the intent - driving to a place to touch a dog shows an intent to break the rule, and might even invalidate the cleansing.
All mumbo jumbo of course but it's interesting at least.
Sorry, yes. I'll ammend

You're both half right.
You get the version at the time of your subscription (plus bugfixes). Then every time a version has been out for 12 months while you've been paying you get that version perpetually (plus bugfixes).
So it's 1.0 when you subscribe, you get that perpetually.
It's 1.0.1 in your third month, you get that perpetually.
It's 1.1 in your fifth month. You get that perpetually after 17 months.
It's 1.2 in your eighth month. You get that perpetually after 20 months.
You unsubscibe at 19 months but retain a perpetual version licence.
- You started with 1.0
- You ended with 1.2
- You have to roll back from 1.2 to 1.1
Previous version was incorrect. This is why I just distribute our licenses, not procure them!

They share them as a once off. Very occasionally you'll get the "Update: MIL stole our baby" posts, but mostly it doesn't matter (and shouldn't matter) who is posting the content. In social media, who is posting matters.
You have the oddities on Reddit occasion like that terrible poet and the comic lady that has her OF simps brigade her posts, but just look at how utterly useless and rejected all of Reddit's attempts to turn it into social media are: follows, journals, chat - features of genuine social media but done poorly and with the wrong audience who distinctly Don't want to follow personalities.
Because by that criteria every web page that's ever had a comment box is "social media".
Social media to me is, as the guy said, defined by the fact that you're following a person/persona, not a topic.
This site and other sites like it are link aggregators. If you wanted to, you could use and contribute to a link aggregator without ever writing or indeed reading a comment.
Fun fact! While there is a meteorological standard, in day to day usage the seasons are culturally defined.
In Ireland for example, it's been summer since May 1st.

Other places also define seasons differently or indeed have completely different seasons, eg the wet season, hot season, cool season in Thailand.
Is this joke the Hello World of welcoming?
What's a colour guard? It sounds like an American political movement.
I don't doubt he's right but I find it fascinating that those young people are essentially rioting to not be allowed to vote.
