Wait but I was told that rich white people didn’t have special privilege and that we had solved racism! I thought generational wealth had nothing to do with anything!

Christ the fact that that’s only being addressed now is insane to me. I thought it was just done quitely, I didn’t realize it was actually fully allowed.

“communities should honor the expectations they set”

Oh, really?

Also, if your paraphrasing is accurate and we’re not playing a game of telephone here, regardless of how past experiences were later treated that’s kinda like saying “you’ll probably hate this unless you’re the kind of person who’ll still only appreciate it once a few critics tell you to in a few years.”

God, I’ve been watching a lot of 40k lore videos for some reason and I can’t imagine the carnage even a handful of Astartes could cause. The Death Star would be annahilated by, like, three dudes.

Let’s not forget that they probably don’t listen to much non-commercialized country and when they do the highly left-wing, union supporting, feelings having message probably goes right over their heads. I mean it has to, they’d necessarily throw a fit if they knew what they were listening to.

Oh yea for sure, that I’m behind 100%. “Strategic voting” is just silencing your one chance to have a real voice based on whoever’s PR team is doing better.

Is there something I’m missing? They won because they got the most votes between three parties(but not a majority) and then the most again during the second round of voting between the top two. They won both times.

Ideologies aside your comment is written like you suspect foul play or something. “It’s broken because they could never win if there was competition” is just a terrible take so I assume I must be interpretting it wrong, right?

The thing about the trolley problem is that the onvious answer is, when going purely by the numbers, to pull the lever. Too many people don’t pull it(don’t vote) and act like they did the morally correct thing while the several people get smushed.

And the thing about it is that it’s not a trolley problem at all but simple harm reduction. It’s the same pool of people getting hurt, not two separate tracks. One party won’t protect as many as they should, sure, but the other party will happily throw gasoline on the lot and light ‘em up to keep themselves warm while they wait for the train to come.

People on the right still believe he was defending himself or just a kid or whatever whatever. This news shows that it was totally planned, that he willingly put himself in harms way to murder people like he was judge, jury, and executioner over some shoplifting.

It’s important that we go “oh look, he really is, undeniably, a rotten piece of filth” and can throw out all these notions of “well-intentioned” people who end up killing people like this.

“Why are my employees not respecting me? Why are they unproductive?”

“Maybe treat them with a modicum of respect?”

“Must be something in the water.”
