I mean, they had to animate Jen in lots of shots? Paying VFX artists costs money

I mean, it's subjective. I enjoyed the first few episodes of Agatha that are out, but it's definitely a soecific style that one has to like.

To further silence the rumours, Perez comically posted a clip from popular movie 'The Wolf of Wall Street', in which Leo's character says "I'm not leaving", and captioned it "Sorry" with a series of laughing emojis.

It's the kind of language all those former pilots, chefs etc of Epstein use. "(Very) young women", well that could mean anything from 18-20 years old legal adults to 12 years old children.

The law firm of Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg (RJLF) has announced a landmark victory in its trademark case against comics publishers Marvel and DC Comics. They have obtained an order from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office cancelling Marvel and DC Comics' joint trademark for the word "Super Hero" and thus allowing everyone to freely use the term.

This was granted after Marvel and DC failed to respond to court requests. RJLF represents their clients, S.J. Richold and Superbabies Limited, in the case.

Some people might not have seen that one yet, so probably good not to spoil Ep3 in the Ep2 thread ;D

Not officially, but Marko has repeatedly said that Lawson will sit in a Red Bull-owned F1 car next year.

I imagine that HR at some multicountry conglomerate is not your friend. In the middle-sized companies I have worked at HR has been quite supporting when needed. Of course it is also a question of what kind of stuff they are responsible for. For example, bullying is not an HR topic here, there are specific other people for that.

F1 stuff is always so crazy.

In 2018, Vijay Mallya, accused of fraud and defaulting on loans, could not afford to continue to run Force India, and sold it to Lawrence Stroll.

Therefore Williams lost the Stroll money and had to turn to Rokit as a new title sponsor. Rokit already had a shady reputation among fans because they had such a Rich Energy energy of "nobody buys their stuff, are they able to afford this?"

And then Rokit bailed, not paying any money in 2020. Which led to Claire selling the team because, as she says, there was no money left.

spoilerIn the first episode, Agatha tries to find out about the relevance of the book "Dialogue And Rhetoric Known History of Learning & Debate" by Andrew Ugo to the death of Jane Doe.

Of course, it turns out that the book name initials spell DARKHOLD and that Jane Doe is Agatha's visualization of Wanda's death.

But the name of that author, Andrew Ugo? It isnt stated in the show. Turns out it is an anagram of Wundagore.

It makes perfect sense because the Darkhold is a copy of the etched walls of Mount Wundagore.

Potentially there are still other easter eggs. For example, the raven sits on a letter of a sign when it is shown, which could tie in with something else?

Official line from RB team principal Laurent Mekies in the post-race press release:

"Given this may have been Daniel’s last race, we wanted to give him the chance to savour it and go out with the fastest lap."

@MHPengwingz@lemmy.world called it in the Ep01 discussion thread, it is a direct reference/homage. Fandom.com put this clip together.

This clip has no relevant spoilers for the show btw

The Agatha changes in the OTA are pretty cool, check out this list. The early goal is to drop Black Knight if you can, let Agatha play domino, and hopefully you can play non knight (if no ghost rider in hand), or sif/wave otherwise... Then follow up with ghost rider and ebony blade!

Marvel Studios’ untitled Vision series will be a follow-up series to its acclaimed WandaVision (and connect to Agatha All Along).

The new show is eying a shoot in England in early 2025.

Terry Matalas, the much-heralded showrunner of Star Trek: Picard, is spearheading the new show.

Only Paul Bettany (White Vision) and James Spader (Ultron) have been announced so far.
