Also, people never mention how expensive all that special clothing is. No, thanks, I'd rather not spend hundreds of dollars just to be able to step outside. Plus special equipment for the snow, etc. It's too much.
But what about the darkness? How do you mitigate the fact that it's pitch black so early in the day?
But only hiring barely enough people in order to maximize profits is the American Way! Why hire 2 people if you can overwork and underpay 1?
Everywhere where? Inside the airport? What's the big deal? Because once you're out of the airport, you still have to carry all your bags, regardless of whether they were checked or not.

Why are you against learning the language of the place where you want to go? Immigrating is hard, and it's even harder if you're in a new place by yourself and can't even speak the local language. You're going to struggle a lot that way.
