That's a modern myth. IIRC there was a newspaper that had to decide to publish either in German or English and they decided in favor of English. The USA doesn't have an official language but de facto it is English.
CDU was always center-right and SPD center-left. In the last years SPD slowly drifted to center. Some still consider them center-left.
You should check on the definition of extremist. The AfD ist far-right, yes, but not extremist (yet).
Germany will probably get a centrist-right (CDU/CSU) government with a centrist-left junior partner (SPD).
Centrist-right is far left in US terms.
I expect stagnancy in German politics for the next 4 years. -_-

Which is a good thing IMO. From this side of the large pond the USA looks more and more like a bully on par with Russia and China.
East of UA is fucked for decades but Russia is fucked too. Both countries burnt through quite a lot of their arsenal from Soviet times and struggle to keep their troops supplied. UA has it easier because the European countries help with weapons, munitions and other equipment.
Unfortunately Russia can sustain the current attrition rate by another 5-10 years before the situation becomes truly unbearable for them. My fear is that by then the UA might have collapsed.
The best case scenario is that Putin dies shortly and his successor ends this stupid war.
Those apps are like Google search. They are designed to keep you occupied, to make you pay for subscriptions and click on ads.
They are not designed to find you a good partner.
Google was already shit for years. Its purpose nowadays is not to deliver whatever search results the user requested, it’s purpose is to keep the user dangling so that he clicks on one of the sponsored links - that’s money.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason you won’t find anything anymore on Google.
You can try DuckDuckGo. They are pretty open on what they do. The search engine is Bing and the maps come from Apple and you can chose your preferred AI from a list.
I haven’t heard about the decentralized search engines. Are they any good? Or are they more in like a proof of concept stage?
