My quarterly goals are meant to be

  • Specific
  • Goal oriented

And specifically should not be

  • Vague
  • Passive

Looking at recent decisions, it's going to go badly for those of us who believe in the anti-establishment clause.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Congress shall make no law, this actually could be interpreted quite literally by the courts that it is perfectly acceptable for a state to not only establish a religion but to criminalize other beliefs.

I think this would be a 5-4 decision with SCOTUS. I think Barrett would be against it, because she is Catholic and would see that her beliefs may not be the ones promoted. Kavanaugh and Roberts could be a toss up.

I started keeping a list of companies that cold call me, it will take a lot for me to ever do business with any of them.

The worse are the lead gen companies. Those assholes call me multiple times a day even after I tell them not to call and report them.

I wonder how mass deportations would actually work. To me it sounds like seeking out undocumented or potentially undocumented people and detaining them until they are deported or can prove a legal status. It sounds like rounding people up based on some sort of identifying factor. How many people will get detained who shouldn't be?

I meant that the crew would not count as passengers. I know nothing about fuel usage, but let's say a trip is going to use 200lbs of fuel. 1 passenger would give a ratio of 200:1, add 6 crew, the ratio is still 200:1. The only way to have lower tax is to have more passengers on the flight.

There should be a tax based on how many gallons of fuel per person on the flight. The tax should grow experimentally related to that ratio. Crew and staff should be excluded. Sorry it's going to be 90,000$ for you to take off today. Maybe even double the tax every time you have to pay the tax on a single month. 90,000 this week, 180,000 next. Resets every month or maybe every quarter.

Eventually an airline for the super wealthy would form. Cheaper than owning your own jet but afford some level of privacy and exclusivity by doing group bookings to lower or eliminate the tax.

I can only infer the meaning of the graph but it seems to me that the sampling has increased which could shift the line as well.

In the last 24 hours, Leaf has posted more than 2,000 internal Dominion documents on his social media account.

Where is his arrest? That is an insane level of malice with only one goal.

Reminds me of a movie scene where they trick some capitalist into thinking he drank water that he was responsible for contaminating but swore it was safe.

Need to get this fool to believe he's affected by the lead. Not a far leap for the way he is talking.

I think it's very likely the GOP is trying to oust bobo. Thought that from the moment Buck announced his departure and she announced a district change. Seems they encouraged her to change, knowing she couldn't win.

Though now I wonder if they want to keep her and think that a low turnout special election would be a safer bet for her.
