Just to adress your first sentence: My first thought was that these groups most likely don't go for checkups with the same frequency. On the socio economic dimensions of traits, Hispanics might define a homogeneous group.

Trees make wind because whenever there was wind, they moved.

I'm not using dual boot anymore, but when I did, I always selected the partition from BIOS, which was totally fine for me. Are there arguments against it?

That's not the point? The school provides a service and is (probably) not obliged to do so. If the school sets rules on this services, it's OPs choice to either use or not use that service. 🤔

Well, maybe it's because you may die if you accidentally touched touched the prongs? The purpose of female plugs is among other reasons to prevent accidentally touching them.

Year, the 40+ part is the problem here,or the need to work such hours as a new parent. The Feature freaks people out, rightfully because the underlying issue is so absurd.

Every generation should finance their own retirements. Fluctuating population will lead to few having to finance many. This is the state of affairs in Germany, where old people live in both huge places and are paid pensions which will be unreachable for the younger generation.

I live in a village with many single family houses from the 70s and 80s. The people living here are old and are either not capable or willing to invest in their homes Understandable in my opinion. Why invest if you know you'll die in 10 years...

What I wished would happen that older people would downsize. It is common for older people to live in their 7 room house they build for their entire family of 5. Children all grown up and in different cities, house not maintained and only partially heated.

Feels like pragmatism dies before the rest. Just move to a smaller apartment and give the house meant for families back to families ...

Mine runs very smooth. I guess it's a matter of hardware or Ressource allocation?

I have a fujitsu thin client with a 4 core Celeron CPU and 8gb RAM. Nextcloud and Maria DB run in separate containers in proxmox.

I am the only user. I have only office, face recognition and maps installed. Other than that I use calender, contact and Foto sync.

Hello,

This does not directly relate to android or android devices but as this seems to be one of the more active communities, I thought I should give it a shot here.

I'm Wondering why the USB C socket and plug have the geometry they have. To me, it seems like the more complex hardware is located in the socket which is located on the more expensive device compared to the cable. Firebolt (is that the apple standard's name?) seem to handle it the opposite by having the flat plug with bare contacts.

Background is that I have frequently had issues with charging my phone due to dust or other dirt getting suck in the socket. Lacking adequate household items, I had to use a small screw driver to get the dirt out, which I think in general a bad idea.

Are there any technical reasons to have the flat contact in the center of the usb socket rather than the plug?
