I dunno. Plenty of pro-Russian posters on Lemmy, and in this very thread. It is funny to see people arguing that Ukrainian sources should be removed since they can't give an unbiased picture of Russian casualties, though--I'm sure Russian sources are totally unbiased, lol!

Social media is one of the central ways news organizations get information and has been for over a decade. I mean, that's one of the central reasons Musk's Twitter fuckups have been such a big deal! Removing a post for that is really stupid

It's usually a video on RedGifs. They intentionally make it difficult to view their videos anywhere but directly on their website. You can view them by opening the link in your browser with the chain icon in the middle.

Melatonin actually has a scientific basis. It's a naturally produced hormone that will have an effect on most people, but being a hormone, ymmv. Homeopathy is pure quackery from top to bottom

Incredibly poor headline to blame the school for this. They didn't know the backstory of the body. All they knew was that the state coroner had sent it to them for educational purposes. It's the coroner's fault!

Not liking something and expressing it isn't the same as being rude. It can be done rudely, but this is about as benign as disagreement on taste gets. Can't imagine how a mod could self justify a ban over this.

Not knowing anything about French law, I'm assuming if he's regarded as mentally ill he may receive a more lenient sentence. Purely on those grounds, I hope he's regarded as being of sound mind so he's put away for as long as possible
