Yeah, most players will play a game for a bit and then move on. It's rare to get attached to a game and play it forever, and if you do, you likely only have one game like that. There'll be people who play Helldivers 2 for years, but it doesn't seem set up like an MMO so is unlikely to get the same long term traction.

I live in this constituency. Normally there's a load of Vote Conservative stuff up in people's windows. This time there's nothing. A few swivel eyed loons in the local Facebook groups with Reform profile pics and that's it.

This town is going red, and our useless Penfold-lookalike Tory MP will be out.

Yes I wonder why that could be, Nigel.

Maybe because you say the kind of things the BNP liked to hear? Perhaps you should say something else.

You might like Fez and Animal Well too.

Rosalina is clearly the thinking man's rideable sidekick.

Accents as well. You can have the rain in Spain falling mainly on the plain as much as you want, but it's not going to help any foreign visitors to Newcastle or Liverpool.

No vibration is a strange choice given that Nintendo and Sony went out of their way to make that much better in recent years.

Lack of trackpad is more understandable. Sony have had that for two generations now, and I've never really seen it used as anything other than a big Select button. I bounced off the Steam Controller simply because games designed for controllers feel much better with thumbsticks. If I want to play a mouse controlled game like Civ, I will use a mouse. Even from my sofa.

Or the funders get bored of waiting after ten years of "no Mars yet" and cancel the project, leaving you with a half finished rocket.

I guess whether it's worth it depends on whether you hate writing code or reading code the most.

Yeah, it's all on Twitter and Facebook.

Why hang out in the run down Nazi bar when the big chain bars are all accepting Nazis now?

"0" == []

Some automatic conversion is fine.

a=3+0.2

print("Hello {name}. You are {age} years old")

That kind of thing. But the principle of least surprise definitely applies. If you get to the point where you're adding two booleans and a string, I feel like the language should at least say something. At least until the technology exists for it to physically reach out of your screen and slap you.
