Tilix is nice, other than that I tend to just use whichever is packaged

I guess I'm going to self host. Better that than having to create yet another account on yet another instance just because it got defederated

Ubuntu Cinnamon is what'd I recommend more if you're starting out and want to play video games. Lutris dropped support for Linux Mint because both parties were a bit too stubborn on making the appropriate changes that would work for everyone (iirc, LM packaged drivers differently and Lutris wanted it a bit more standard to work efficiently. And immovable object had met an unstoppable force)

Shower for watering plants, jet for cleaning, no nozzle if I'm going to be letting the water run across the irrigation I've set up for the trees

I hate cities because of the amount of idiots driving there. If it were harder to get a driver's license then I wouldn't mind at all

Gamertag. My new one at that though

I've had this issue, I found it was related to my NIC and after a few minutes of downloading anything my network (on the computer, software side) would crash

I have an old ISP provided router and my wifi card is an Intel AX210 iirc.. Disabling AX on the router side (and forcing it to AC) is what fixed it for me.

We use whatsapp at work because a majority of people have iPhones, not an issue but group chats with Android users (half of the department I'm working for, myself included) cause issues with the actual texts.

From what I've looked into, simplified, Apple is at fault for not properly implementing cross-compatible version of imessage. (Iirc, it's RTC but can't quite remember all at the moment)

Same reason I'm still driving an older truck. While I've been wanting to upgrade to a new truck, I don't want to deal with the computer controlling every aspect of the vehicle (breaks, accelerator, lights, etc.) As it is now, if I want to turn my headlights on, a relay controls it. Same with the turn signal, radio, A/C, and the list goes on

It's almost as if reddit's first party app couldn't even compete with third party apps. I used Boost for Reddit and now I'm waiting for Boost for Lemmy

Still trying to wrap my head around the cross-community, cross-server talk, but then again I'm drunk so I should just try again in the morning
