I think I was misunderstood, so it's funny to watch the reactions. :) Yes I know there are female spies. They are highly effective, more so than male spies since they have the ability to attract men. It is very common to use female spies for any sort of information gathering from men. It's so easy.

Very true but trying to change this attitude....no fun being home all the time.

Around 9 years old. Could be some 11 year olds in there.

Judging by the downvotes, it's a sensitive thing to joke about on Lemmy, lol.

Coffee shops and pubs when they are cozy and have that atmosphere of life.

Remember how they used to have arenas and gladiators?

Guess which people we are watching now instead of gladiators.

Sadly, reddit is not dying. I thought so too but unfortunately only a microscopic amount of users cares about not being subjected to ads, tracking and ridiculous moderation if they get some entertainment in return.

Same with Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook...

A lot of people are depressed and tired (because of society design), and needs these things to pass the time in their lives.

I'm personally making some strong changes in my own life, because I got so ridiculously bored with my own life and realized I'm on the wrong path, spending my time at home so much.

Wise words. Sounds like your heart is fully working.

I tried CS2 yesterday and it had better graphics but felt laggy during play with other players. From what I've seen online, lots of people feels like it's just not smooth, which is pretty critical for a shooter.

I'm playing in 144Hz but it feels like 60hz and i get frequent lag spikes.

You guys tried it yet?

This one is pretty cool for quick navigation. :)

As a very happy Kagi user since launch, I think you should check out this search engine. It's fantastic.

This was a very interesting read.

The final release of the GNOME 45 desktop environment is expected on September 20th, 2023.

Not long to go now. :)

I always look forward to new Gnome releases, and I still switch back and forth between Plasma and Gnome all the time...

How awesome is this!

Reminds me of all the beautiful personal web sites we used to have and visit just for fun.

Topics essentially works like this: rather than using cookies to track people around the web and figure out their interests from the sites they visit and the apps they use, websites can ask Chrome directly, via its Topics JavaScript API, what sort of things the user is interested in, and then display ads based on that. Chrome picks these topics of interest from studying the user's browser history.

Isn't this completely immoral? They are literally stealing the users private browsing history and uses it to boost their own profits.
