I don’t understand the appeal of doing this. These people are dumb as fuck. Here’s a similar one.

Seems like Florida is chock (chalk?) full of these guys.

Florida apparently has some law that means more crime is published. They don't necessarily have more crazies.

Florida apparently has some law that means more crime is published

This certainly gives us a lot of material, but now I wonder why Florida has this! It must be different than the local police blotter that is common.

You got a source for that? Would love to read more

It's part of Florida's "sunshine" laws. Certain government actions need to be publicly available, and in Florida that includes mugshots.

It’s a combination of things, but the main part is summed up here :

Yeah that's the usual claim I've seen for years, but I seriously doubt the authenticity of it as wacky/sensational stories like this get media attention regardless of what state they occur in.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 5 points 6 days ago

Chock. Florida is truly insane.

[–] Zaktor@sopuli.xyz 14 points 6 days ago (2 children)

I've seen this story before. He's doing important work.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago

Can't be. He didn't identify himself as either agent Roth or Hagar.

[–] Sculptor9157@sh.itjust.works 2 points 6 days ago

Exactly. He's not stealing a car and being stupid, but has a tip on a band of Rugaru in Miami.

His company's website: http://airsourceinternational.com/

HTML frames, what a bad boy!

The only working external link seems to be Adobe, so you won't really get stuck in it browsing something else.

My 1996 Barenaked Ladies Geocities page looked better than this.

[–] finley@lemm.ee 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

You were probably in the same web ring as my 1995 Dave Matthews Band fan site

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

Probably so!

I've been listening to them a lot lately. Damn those albums are good.

Sounds like the perfect cover for a CIA agent to be trusted in prison. A prison that just so happens to be filled with cartel members....
