Totally agree. I need to update my EDC and make a post soon.
Ask the mods there to put a link in the sidebar? Make a post there?
Good idea. I sent them a message asking to reopen the sub temporarily but lock everything but a stickied post that notifies users about the Lemmy migration, and/or put it in the sidebar. Let's hope they see it.
This is the intended replacement for the subreddit. A wonderful user started it up for that purpose, and the rules are essentially the same. It's slower on lemmy, but that's a good thing imo. It comes with the people that are here being a lot less nasty than reddit on average, and zero brigading or bots (so far).
and no guns 😁
there wasn't even one gun until now
They're still allowed though :)
I failed to migrate a sub I moderated to lemmy.
When I posted a link it was aggressively downvoted. One user even reported the post as spam.
Wait, they took down r/edc? What for? Thise bastards!
