Eating CEO's is never cringe. In fact it's good for your body.

[–] jabathekek@sopuli.xyz 51 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Composting them is safer. Prion diseases can't be cured, even if you're an oligarch.

Fun fact: This is pretty much a myth! There is only one case of a prion disease being transmitted via cannibalism in humans - Kuru. It's only contracted by consuming the brain matter of an infected individual, and it's only ever occurred in one group - the Fore people of Papua New Guinea, who practiced funerary cannibalism. It's been eradicated since 2009.

The danger of contracting a prion gets trotted out all the time as justification for cannibalism being bad/wrong, and it just isn't a factor. The truth is that human cannibalism is, except for one single (and incredibly tragic, so many child deaths resulted from this freak outbreak) instance, fine. And avoiding the consumption of brain tissue mitigates even that one impossibly rare risk.

Should liven up the neighborhood barbecue, at least.

Why would you eat compost? Put it on the garden beds so nice things can grow.

[–] nonentity@sh.itjust.works 26 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Don’t eat shit, mulch the rich.

  • Guest: What a beautiful lemon tree! How did you get it looking so alive?
  • Host: Thanks! We used a rich blend of organic CEO's in the garden soil.

And citrus trees thrive when they're pissed on.

[–] pancakes@sh.itjust.works 27 points 1 week ago

Of course not. To even imply that it's cringe is an attack on the class.

[–] hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 27 points 1 week ago

No. Eat millionares for breakfast and billionares for dinner.

[–] DrFistington@lemmy.world 26 points 1 week ago

No we don't want to eat them, they're probably all stringy and loaded with drugs. Just slaughter them

[–] Anissem@lemmy.ml 16 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Is this in GTA? I don’t know what’s real anymore

[–] jabathekek@sopuli.xyz 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

It might just be a fantasy.

[–] osaerisxero@kbin.melroy.org 11 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Well, we are caught in a landslide

[–] jabathekek@sopuli.xyz 9 points 1 week ago

If only we could just escape from reality...

That whole movie is brilliant.

I use the skins for my CeoLeather boots. They are more morally produced than animal leather.

[–] CriticalMiss@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago

The phrase makes me cringe, the message doesn’t. I think it’s because I’ve seen it being misused by people who don’t know what they’re talking about, most likely.

finally some good KFC
