Honestly I don't entirely disagree. But it is a very... nuanced situation.

I think there's a layer of subjectivity that protects us from getting banned from LW. Things like "free Luigi" and "Luigi did nothing wrong" are fine because they're not directly advocating for violence. But you can't say X, Y, or Z should get murdered. I think that's the line.

I moderate both of those subs but honestly I think I'd agree with you, .world was not the best place to create those communities.

I want to be able to say eat the rich and luigi magione was right.

You can. !luigimangione@lemmy.world & !eattherich@lemmy.world

You just can't advocate for violence.

You could use thumbnails instead of cards so the images take up a lot less space on screen until you open them

(Just realized Connect is one of the few apps I haven't tried, but I'm willing to bet there's an option for it)

Testing out cross posting... Never done it before.

Also, for context: Valve recently dropped the SDK that TF2 creators need for creating mods and stuff, basically putting the tools in our hands to deal with the issues they've been neglecting for all these years.

How haven't I seen this until now?

I just want somewhere that won't even show me new episodes until an unghosted version is released. I primarily watch anime for the animation, so blurred and darkened frames really ruin it for me.
