Well this is a character I know nothing about, so maybe that will explain my initial thoughts.
The clip introduced the character of Kraven well and it has me interested in the full film. The problem is, are you telling me not one guard managed to shoot him at all in that sequence? They were almost point blank at times. Not a single scratch!
I'm not watching this because I don't like spoilers but it's gotta be good if they're willing to post clips of it online.
Somehow I'm actually hearing about hype for this movie. I thought I was the only one, knowing about him from his appearance in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon on Disney XD I watched as a kid, but some people seem to know him from a recent videogame that I haven't played yet.
but it’s gotta be good if they’re willing to post clips of it online.
This is a common type of trailer for studios. It's literally just the first eight minutes of the movie, opening credit rolls and everything. There's nothing to spoil, and it doesn't mean it's automatically any good

Don't think it says that much about the quality, although they are at least confident that those 8 minutes are good enough to not scare people away.
Imo it is mostly a reaction to recent flops, particularly Joker 2, which might make casual movie goers (which this probably aims at) more cautions. Kraven isn't some household name, so they want to take out as much uncertainty as possible.
My introduction to Kraven was the 90s animated series. Since then I’ve read a bunch of comic runs with him.
He’s a cool character, but I don’t have high hopes for any of these Sony Spider-Villain movies.
His best story is that one from the 80s where he buries Spider-Man and starts pretending to be him. I can’t remember the name of it…
Edit: Kraven’s Last Hunt. 🤦♂️
OOoohHHhhh!
I get free passes from work so I'll go see this in theatres. Preferably, late night with few other people.
It caught my eye but not my wallet. Though I might splurge at the concession stand a little.
Lame. They gave him super strength and shit.
They gave him the things he had in the comics.

Superhuman Hunter
Kraven possesses superhuman abilities conferred upon him via special herbal potions he periodically ingests. These abilities include enhanced strength (optimally lifting 2 tons), speed (able to sprint short distances at 60 mph), agility, stamina, and longevity. He can perform a standing broad jump of 20 feet. He can exert at peak levels for a half-hour before fatigue impaired performance. Despite his advanced years, Kraven maintains the physical age of a 30-year-old.
I stand corrected. It's been awhile since I read Last Hunt.
