Is she available on fiverr? I'd like to pay her to do her livestream in front of the white house or Kreml

Battle of the admin box

I've contracted covid twice. Both were when visiting the US. And that was before this numpty was in charge. This will not go well.

Their green lineup is fine. But as someone who used to go through multiple drill batteries every day at work, I've learned to appreciate the 18V stuff. So when I needed to replace my cheap drill at home, it was a simple choice. And I later bought a circular saw, and it's nice to have interchangeable batteries and only one charger: All of my tools have their own battery, and I always have one extra in the charger that is good to go when needed.

Not at all in itself. But the blue bosch (professional grade, as opposed to the consumer grade green) is generally pretty high quality, so I stick with that lineup for tools that I need beyond the stage where any cheap brand will do.

I was about to indulge in pedantry on the basis that some of the languages mentioned are from countries that aren't EU members. But TIL that the EU flag was originally the European flag (which was later adopted by the EU), so I'll allow it.

Spring. No more shoveling snow, and before summer makes it too hot. And it doesn't come with the sideways rain if autumn.

Do they also shave off dead skin? I could use some of that.

The Offspring - She's Got Issues

That song is embedded in my mind with the associated memory of Americana having released not long before, and we were playing Waveracer on N64 with a friend who has since passed.

Most of it will be spent learning how to properly use Gimp

Title. I just think ot would be fun if a journalist interviewed, for example, a famous musician, but instead of questions regarding their latest album, the interview was all about that year where they worked as a plumber.

Title, basically. I just noticed that one of the communities I frequent only has one mod listed, and they haven't posted or commented in 11 months. I fired off a message to see if they're online at all (doubt it). In the event of no response, what's the correct course of action for this community that is reasonably active?

EDIT: By the way, the community in question is !norge@lemmy.world

How do I PS5? (sh.itjust.works)
submitted 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) by neidu3@sh.itjust.works to c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

As previously mentioned, we now have a PS5 in the household. My handicap is that I have no experience with modern consoles, so I therefore have a few questions. Basically, we have multiple users, each with their own controller and PS account, and I haven't entirely figured out how games, saves, and purchases work.

If offspring A buys a game, can offspring B play it? (Are the games/purchases tied to the console or the user?)
If offspring B plays a game, will his progress/savegame only be for his user?

I would show you a picture of the main dish, but I fear it would be too exciting.

Title, basically. Three Boys, aged 9, 10, and 13, are getting a PS5 for Christmas, and I want to expand their horizon beyond roblox and minecraft.

They're gett8ng one controller each, so bonus points for something they can play together.

PS: I'm not too strict about age restrictions. They know we'll what they are and aren't allowed to say and do, so I'm not very concerned about VoIlEnT videO gAmEs to a reasonable extent.

They do enjoy builders and open world stuff, by the way.

For the past 25 years of sailing the high seas I've always used my PC for watching whatever. But as this is not always practical, I am looking to connect a raspberry Pi to my TV to have a setup with smaller fingerprint and larger screen.

I briefly tried one a couple of eons ago (2010ish?), but sadly I don't remember the name.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to run from a raspberry pi
  • Must be able to stream media over my network (protocols aren't that important as I can probably spin up whatever is needed. Preferably I would just have it index a couple of NFS mounts and local drives)

Bonus question: Which Pi model would you recommend running this? I have a bunch of Zero W, and while everything "works" on them, it simply wasn't powerful enough to decode video at a watchable rate.

What does it take in terms of assets, abilities, and/or income for you to consider them wealthy?
