If my death comes with a bumpin' soundtrack I think I'll consider that a net win.

Lofi is not "bumpin'"

It is quite literally the opposite of that. It's like dying to smooth jazz. I'd rather it be on a much faster tempo I die to.

At least it's not slacking off anymore.

This is the kind of AI rebellion I can get behind

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 11 points 5 days ago

Can we make this AI the president of the United States?

[–] MajorHavoc@programming.dev 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

AI is going to kill a bunch of us, but this isn't how it will happen.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Don't be silly. AI isn't going to kill us en masse. We're doing too good of a job of that ourselves before any AI will be powerful enough.

Lol. Yeah. Sorry, let me clarify, I agree.

Like any new technology embraced too hard too soon, AI is going to kill several of us.

The mass extermination of most of our species - I expect we will accomplish with or without AI assistance.

Sir, we have reports that our rival company programmed an AI that's only into listening to vaporwave. They tried talking to it, but they can't get a prompt. All they see is old Winamp visualizer patterns.
