Why? They were immigrants so they could be disposable labor right?

One of the employees who died, Bertha Mendoza, 56, fell off the truck and vanished into the flood, according to Ingram and a representative from Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition.

Same with the fucking bridge that got destroyed in Delaware and every factory disaster. Immigrants doing the labor that die for our carelessness, and easy to replace.

Yeah, honestly I don't want to have to stress about something that can't be fixed and might otherwise ruin a day out or vacation.

If my dog dies don't tell me till I'm back from vacation kinda thing.

I've been incredibly broke before and I think it's different kind of protective. I'm frugally protective at trying to keep something working but that's a different kind of possesive.

Of course you will care about food when you are starving. And you won't care about scraps and leftovers when you are not.

But like that was a change of not being afraid to lose something you can rebuy. I'm sure their is plenty of non disposable items that you would have and ideals that you hold onto as truths about yourself. And im sure you don't viewing housing and transportation as disposable.

Well you are still getting downvoted so.... Did you piss someone off?

[–] Krauerking@lemy.lol 3 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Holy moly 170 comments on the article itself and nothing but downvotes over here. Man I wonder what the conversation that didn't happen was that caused this.

[–] Krauerking@lemy.lol 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Oh cool, if you want to be educated, well then reread this conversation from the beginning where I try to have the conversation you refuse to have. Then when you get to here and haven't changed start over and reread the conversation from the beginning. And when you get to here and pretend to care again start from the beginning where I tried to have this conversation.

No you just like to say stuff and don't listen to others. So yes I'm sure these all sound like insults.

Oh to have your free time and ignorance.

[–] Krauerking@lemy.lol 2 points 1 day ago (5 children)

you sure seemed like you didn't want me talking about what I was talking about

And still playing the victim while ignoring that none of what happens in your head is what is happening in real life and I have participated in the conversation the whole time.

I think you are wrong to talk the way you do. And assume things that are self affirming than being honest with reality.

You literally are still using sarcasm and avoidance as a shield and haven't met the conversation once but used the feeling of being right to be your moral compass.

Yeah I would still call you a narcissist.

[–] Krauerking@lemy.lol 3 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Yeah I think they misunderstood what was happening cause they were getting wealthier as they got older.

Honestly, you just become more protective of your stuff and things you consider yours as you get older.

There are plenty of nerds that are super conservative about their fandoms and what is allowed to happen with them and same for all kinds of niches but the idea we would get more conservative with money really assumed we would accumulate more of it and assets. But what people do have is their apps and thoughts and those... Those people will be just as conservative as the boomers are about their money as they get older.

Also, for someone who complains about people being silenced, you sure want me to shut up.

By quoting you?

Are you a troll or that sheltered that you are able to alter every interaction in your head to make yourself the only good person?

Some would call that narcissistic behaviour or borderline personality disorder.

[–] Krauerking@lemy.lol 1 points 1 day ago (9 children)

You acted like the victim by saying I wanted you to shut up when that wasn't said by me and now are doubling down on the victim for being told something you don't like. I really don't care.

Alright last comment cause I got stuff to do. But you literally just said you don't agree that not voting for Trump is the same then said it's practically the same. In literally the next sentence.

Just because someone isn't voting for your desired candidate or your opposition doesn't mean they are supporting the one you have issue with. It literally doesn't work that way. They might not be helping you but somehow it only impacts one side? Cause there isn't a net positive for it anymore? That doesn't equal a positive for the other just literally a neutral "wasted" vote because sure it is.

If you can drive a car and not support climate change than this can be true as well. Attaching a moral equivalence to measure people against for a desired outcome is just you telling people they don't matter and are "other" for not being with you. You aren't say8ng what will happen cause if someone votes third party... They vote third party. That's it. You just don't like it so you push that it equates to something you see as worse.

Step on a crack and you will break your mother's back and you must hate your mother cause you never avoid the cracks.

Pushing fake math to appease your own mind is not exactly great. And you can lament them not helping but saying they are doing something you view as immoral because you view it a negative as a positive for the enemy is creating a wedge that doesn't need to exist.

Most conservative pundits out there seem to all talk about how they wanted to do something specific with their life but it didn't work out.
They like to blame the current systems and government for not doing enough to make them famous or popular or cool with the youth.

They then convince a bunch of people who are also unhappy but could have a lot of their issues with lack of time and resources fixed with money, that if they are unhappy while having money dumped in their lap than these normal people will be unhappy with it too. Hoping they fix some arbitrary reason they aren't more famous.

So, I have always wanted to do multi filament printing. The thought of doing multicolor or washable supports has been such a cool idea and I tried to make that a reality all the way back when I bought my Geeetech A10M... And oh boy did I hate it. (Don't do single extruder multi filament kids, it ain't worth the headache.)

So, with only my trusty prusa mk2 at my side I'm thinking of finally getting an IDEX machine and trying again right this time. Then I looked at the price of the Prusa XL and died a little.

So, this is where I am gonna ask for some help.
I saw that Flashgorge is selling their Creator Pro 2 for only $400 and with a cheap upgrade for a magnetic plate seems like it would be an awesome deal even if it's a bit small of a build size.

Or I could go 3rd party and get the JGMaker Artist D Pro IDEX 3D Printer (which I have never heard of) for the same price but with a heck of a lot more build space.

Or I could swallow my pride and a shit ton of credit card payments and do just the 2 head semi-built prusa XL for 3x the cost.

So essentially has anyone tried the Flashforge Creator Pro 2 and thinks it would be worth it for basically half off?
Have 3rd party Chinese brands gotten more trustworthy and actually able to print decent at these insanely low prices?
Or is it still one of those you pay for what you get and if you want good multi filament printing you have to pay for it?

I mean come on! Like, sure ok then, please go on ahead.
