Many biblical figures from that era were said to have lived hundreds of years
Yeah, they can say whatever they want, but there's no evidence of that. Most likely it was a translation error, as the previous poster suggests.

/unshit There was life expectancy at birth and life expectancy. Child mortality was so huge it threw off mortality statistics until after the industrial revolution
