"China", or more accurately rich Chinese businessmen, were abruptly stopped by China introducing regulations against it. Here this seems that the Saudi government itself is pushing it, so unless something unexpected happens I don't see this stopping any time soon.

Honestly, yes, but unlike China Saudi Arabia already has a very strong league, relative to the rest of Asia at least. Personally worried for the asian game, they're already strong enough.
