'The Third Lane' (2011)

I have the DVD case but not the disc, and I'm sure I remember watching it years ago. But I cannot find anything about it online, and no-one I ask has heard of it.

It was a comedy, and I think the plot was basically some guys on a roadtrip, but they accidently kill some hobo who was hitchhiking, and hilarity presumably ensues.

Can someone please tell me they know or have this movie?

It looks like the back cover of the DVD has been torn out, so possibly it is just a long-forgotten prank, and I just imagined watching it??

It looks like a fake DVD cover someone photoshopped together as a gag gift, like you open it up and the case is filled with edibles or something.

If it's real, then you've got to give us a better picture of the text so we can look up some of the names.

A croissant?! You're eating well.

Is it some low budget direct to video thing?

Oh yeah! I definitely remember the car from that movie. Weird vehicle, that one.

Honestly from a close look at the picture I cant help but feel like this is AI generated and OP might be having some fun with us.

Something seems "off" with all 3 of the guys on the cover and I cant identify the car for the life of me.

~~It looks photoshopped like every DVD cover ever. It does not look like AI.~~

On closer inspection, it probably is.

I could see the AI claim. Look between the middle guy’s legs. Is that the bottom of the car, the metallic rail thing (I’m not a car person)? Is it a reflection really bright on the ground? It doesn’t line up with the rest of the car.

Look at the the left guy’s right hand. Is he holding something? Or are his fingers fucked up like AI tends to do?

And the left side of the cover, behind the guy, is that another car? Or a truck? It wouldn’t fit into that space. It doesn’t make any sense. I could very much see this being AI.

It to mention, maybe the most telling, is the “picture taker’s” pointing hand. Is that the thumb? Where are the rest of the fingers? You would see the second knuckle in that position, or you’d see the fingertips curled into the palm. It’s just a blur of he vague idea of fingers. I’m pretty damn sure this is AI.

You've convinced me. I wasn't looking hard enough.

It’s very scary that we were all fooled. I didn’t even question it when I saw it yesterday. Only after reading the more recent comments tonight did I even start looking.

The car was the dead giveaway for me. Because I AM VERY MUCH a car person and it just wasnt a car. All the other things that I thought were iffy could have been put down to the insane compression or just a really lazy design artist for the cover.

Also once I gave it a little thought, both of OPs hands are in the picture...that was when I was sure.
