I mean, we all know they won't, but sure, Grauniad, they "may". 🙄
The City and Chelsea cases are much bigger, so it's understandable that it will take longer. But it nothing comes of it, what message will that send?
Do you expect the Guardian to say "City and Chelsea definitely won't face consequences, because that's the received wisdom of the internet"?
What they are reporting is accurate - Everton have been punished, and others might be.
I don't get how the other clubs can take legal action. Everton certainly didn't comply how they should have but sumbitted accurate books the year of and have been working in good faith and the PL is deciding now it's suddenly not up to standard, sounds like the clubs should take action against the PL for their indecision and the precedent that they set.
