I would rethink posting the cut of my house keys online for all to see...

Yo, I got copies of his keys made. How do I find his house to rob him?

Please respond quick before he changes his locks.

[–] Metal_Zealot@lemmy.ml 31 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Guess I better change the locks at 3005 Bledsoe St, Fort Worth, TX 76107, United States soon!

Sadly no one even acknowledged that this is the address for "Your Mom's House" 🤣🤣

[–] caseyweederman@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Replace your penis with a key?

[–] caseyweederman@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 year ago

Well that gives me another idea.

It's a kwikset lock, it would be easier to just rake it open then to make a key

@bwrsandman @Metal_Zealot As a privacy advocate, this is generally good practice especially since what you post online is likely permanent.

However, people are free to not do so and we gotta just politely let people know it's good practice, rather than "omg dude someone is going to break into your house now" which can be easily refuted

Yea, I didn't think some guy from 4chan was gonna geolocate me based on the make n model of my key or the color of my desk. But I understand.
...though, i'm only living here for like another month, after that, you freaks are more than welcome to ransack this shitty lille hovel

I feel the file and cutting blade would be tearing up my pockets if i kept that on a keychain

I got mine at ThinkGeek but I think they've gone bankrupt now so I'm not sure where you'd find one these days.

THAT was it, thank you. I was bad with money as a teen.
But not in this case

I want to look at this but it immediately forwards to another website.

[–] thegreekgeek@midwest.social 2 points 1 year ago

Yeah, I was looking the site up a few months ago and noticed that too. Wanted to see if I could still get the utility.

You can still get those.

In the UK Go Outdoors stick TU stuff. I always browse their wares when I go.

Recently got the mini lighter.

I have a similar keyring tool that I have had forever. I love this thing.

These are ingenious little gadgets. I kept one on a key for a long time. I only stopped because I switched around how I carry my keys to an arrangement where it would no longer fit.

[–] RosalieMorgan@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

I had one of these. I really like the idea of it but everything was just a little too difficult to use comfortably and it flexed too easily when used as a screwdriver.
