Maybe? I've also read about using water storage. I really don't know much about using gravity.

The Company's comprehensive offerings include proprietary gravity-based storage, battery storage, and green hydrogen energy storage technologies.
It looks like they used lithium ion batteries for this but I'm not confident in that. I only poked around their website a little, tho. I'm curious what gravity based would look like. Maybe I should poke around more!
Maybe I should reach out to the person who runs the mbin instance I am on. They were a kbin person before and may have some insight. An mbin version of this meta would be helpful, as mentioned!
Has there been a change in sourcing new magazines? Last time I tried it I couldn't get anything to matriculate, at least not kbin style with searching etc. Big turn off for me but otherwise mbin seems like the best fit.
This is a good discussion here. I'm sure I am not the only person to have other accounts (an mbin and a lemmy) but I am pretty invested here. But your #1 option has some relavent points.
Edit to add I have been digging the microblogs and miss that from what I can see on mbin. Maybe my error. I can't even find them.
The color of that peach fuzz reminds me of the rotary in our kitchen where I lived as a kid. An option besides black or white is nice!
I'm not sure, it is set there now but I no longer see the posts... Must be a setting somewhere.
What are large, wealthy countries trying to do in these instances? Win hearts and minds? Set a country up for success? Give them tools for self determination? No, it always seems to be for exploitation.
I am curious what would be legitimately helpful.
So this is the Cass Report I've seen mentioned over the last few days. Disappointing. I accept that there will be a lot of back and forth discussion amongst those in the relavent fields, but to disregard large bodies of evidence and to use outdated judgment models seems disingenuous at best. Sure, there can be disagreement about certain aspects, but the folks who this affects the most don't have time to dump what seems best now in exchange for only waiting. I can't imagine they will regret trying something now that, in ten years, may no longer be viewed as solid policy. We have so many examples of this that may not be directly related, but still saved and changed lives.
This isn't really exciting to read. I really appreciate the article handling this as strict information, it doesn't seem to have any loafed terms or forecasting in it. As you say, it is very accessible and probably the best way to digest this!
Thanks for sharing it. I am curious to see how this manifests.
I wonder how they feel about high fives?
That's really cool! I'm not sure where this fits in on the renewable spectrum (i could have missed it) but I haven't heard about this. Thanks for sharing!
