I was immediately reminded of Chicago

In case you would like guidance: Your intersections are way too close to each other for the amount of traffic they’re seeing. The streets also seem to be unnecessarily wide. Wider streets make for bigger intersections, which take longer to cross and thus increase the amount of conflicting cars in the intersection.

This guide was very instructive to me.

May I inquire what you think you’ll see in 13 hours?

This is a real building in Osaka.

There's also a based and public transit pilled version in Chong Qing, China.

The slope going up to / coming down from the bridge is literally the stuff of nightmares; I have a recurring one about going up a steep hill I can't see over, onto a bridge, and the hill is so steep on the other side that my vehicle starts falling instead of driving, and I know I'm going to crash.

a tunnel seems like it would be better, nevertheless a good tourist attraction

@eatham That's that one bridge in France, right? It's a nightmare on a windy day in a van.

Even though it’s not connected?

[–] Asterix78@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

If it works don’t fix it

You can't just do a tunnel?

[–] eatham@aussie.zone 1 points 9 months ago

I can, but that wouldn't be funny
